You got to look at the buyers of these cars first. If the guy buys it, and he lazy to think much about it, then send to service center and let them do everything.
The other thing is some of these cars are sold by grey importers as recond car. Definitely very limited warranty. In fact you could say no warranty when you could get almost 50% off from the officially priced one.
But if you are a gear head, you buy the car and want to play around with it, you would not care about warranty. So change wheels, add body kits, flash ECU, change bigger turbo, add support bars, etc.
Flashing ECU to get more power already voids warranty. Which do you think is more likely to kill and engine? Flashing ECU? Or changing to another expensive brand engine oil?
