i just apply upgrade to 4mbps yesterday,normally the upgrade period from 1mbps to 4mbps is how long?
now my modem is detect showing 2mbps not 4mbps, should i call TM or wait?
I am getting IP 124.13.65.132 , this ip is in the range ???

The technician is coming 2day and my speed finally is 4mbps but the IP still not the premium IP (218.111)~~ and the speed been test by the speddmeter onli 2.8mbps
should i call for help or just wait until it change??

the techinician just coming and test, he say because my ID speed limit still not upgrade it so the download speed still maintain 1.5mbps and he say maybe nid wait 3 or 5 day to upgrade my ID speed limit

but he got test other ppl id in my house with streamyx 4.0mbps, the result showing the speed also no reach 4.0mbps~~
the speed been test in my house around 3.3~3.5 mbps not around 3.8~4.0mbps

later i call the 100 to ask when the speed will reach actual speed
after I call 100, they asking me to call back the technician just now to come back check again the speed
then i call back the technician , the technician still saying wait or call back 100 to check again
so i call back 100 again and tell him the technician ask me to call back 100 to check
after that the tm service center asking for the technician hp no and call back him
after 10 minit the tm service center call back me and telling me to wait 2 or 3 day because nid to maintain my speed and asking me try to keep restart modem to test my actual speed.
if the speed still not reach the actual speed in 3 or 4 day then call back the technician or 100 again
lol, i think i have no choice to wait and keeping restart modem to test the actual speed haih~~~~

now my IP still not change to premium IP 218.111

still waiting to get 218.111 IP
the 111/115/118/124 ip really is slow and ping dam high
keep getting this IP drive me crazy and can not play online games because lagging
hope so can get Premium IP ASAP

the ip range is around 218.111.0/11/12/13/14/18/21/22/23/24.xxx
although get premium IP but latency still 50+

finally solve my high ping/latency and slow connection problem ^^
The tm technician call me to cask me change the DSL modulation to G.DMT will get stable connection and lower latency compare with multimode/ADSL2/ADSL2+/ADSL2+M
if anyone having high ping and slow connection problem can try to change it for getting stable and lower latency ^^

since some ppl pm me for more detail about this issue, i will brief more



i am using the linksys wag200g
I automatic get ADSL2+ before changing to G.dmt
I already complain many time because the slow connection and high latency.
The tm technician this morning just call me and asking me about my modem brand and some setting in modem include the modulation~~~
after that he asking me to change ADSL2+ to G.dmt mode because the ADSL2/ADSL2+ is still not stable been used for some area and he say G.dmt can support line speed maximum to 8mbps and tm currently still most using g.dmt modulation so change it to G.dmt sure will no problem and the speed will be more stable and latency should be low. SNR also will improve ^^

now still having bad connection in my area(wangsa maju),just around 200kbps - 800kbps ~~
already call the premium CS , he tell me already having more than 30 ppl report this kind of problem in my area and they still can not find out the problem cause the slow connection, so he asking me to be patient and they will try to solve this problem in my area asap~~
and he give me a report number and he say will call me back if the problem is solve~
hope my connection will back normal asap T.T

Again i'm not shouting on them through phone, but begging them to help me to expedite the restoration process. Then few days later a TM guy called me and told me they will perform migrating of affected users to new server and expected to be complete on early of October...

Then today a TM lady called me told me they just start migrating exercise by today and expected to be completed by Sunday (13/09) - so which one should i believe, the previous one said on early October or the latter?...i have nothing more to say as they can give you 1000 reasons whenever i receive a call from them/ call them to ask for status...lets wait and see how the connection will be within this weekend...

Just to share my personal experience and take note that start from the issue arise until now i was politely talk and begging them through phone, but still i'm getting a lousy connection... sad.gif

now my line is back to normal but sometime still having slow connection on the night~~~
the signal become more strong in dl signal but the upload signal drop
