Need add maths.
U ll learn those along the way.
CAGR mathematics is not modern maths. Its quite complicating if u didnt do add maths.

but in exam tekan calculator je kan ?
plug in numbers into formula

are you asked to derive the formula ? tak kan ? this is not maths degree

you plot a graph of time against speed, and from the graph you want to know distance travelled from time a to time b
the answer is the area under the curve , from a to b
you can either find the area manually, or integrate

Ohh I see , may I know what course u r taking ? Is it finance also ?

I took an elective course in uni
Basic finance for non-finance students (students from other courses) already involve compounding interest ,power , logs, exponential function , calculus etc
Surely for finance students will be harder

Add maths SPM is not hard and very useful, strongly encouraged

no calculus, even if there is, it's not in depth as in engineering

What is calculus ? Got algebras too ? I never heard that before too 😅 I only heard statistics only

Does diploma in finance / banking and finance required additional maths skills ? And does anyone know what is quantitative methods ? Is it addmaths or modern mathematics?
*
Yes

Even doing sales require to know the basics

Accounting/Economics is completely necessary

Btw, why do diploma? Go for degree. Nobody do diploma these days. Course fee almost the same

derivative and intergral you learn in addmath, you need to master algebra for calculus, its elementary

Lol never know that finance degree is considered quantitative in nature. I always thought that at most they will just need to compute some ratio and maybe solving some algebra which is pretty much common sense. A slightly more "quantitative" subject you may encounter might be econometric which involve things like regression, time series and maybe techniques for pricing option/derivative etc. hmm.gif In conclusion it involves minimal mathematics but you should at least be confortable with the basics. Bye.
