You are wrong. No matter how high your CGPA is if you don't meet the right people you won't get far. Uni is the right time to make networking. Joining club that can widen your circles and network is very beneficial in future. Trust me, Uni is not about education only, widen your network is actually can be more beneficial than your CGPA.
