What were you using previously?

This is the 3rd shop i went to. This time the pomen test pressure directly to the coil which inside the cabin (connect from engine bay). Positive coil leak coz the pressure decrease after they stop the machine. So have no choice to change. Total dmg 650 (take out and assemble back dash, replace coil, refill gas, add filter and labour). This time around i dont mind change it as they prove to me the problem is the coil. I ask whether the issue is due to not servicing the air cond or stone as claim by other pomen (which i think not make sense) but they said its wear and tear. The coil which used by exora, blm, iriz and few other model have same wear and tear issue. The pain part is proton decide to place it at the core of the dash. So have to take out everything. I attach pic for u guys reference

Hmm after few months i dont recommend it. I having leaking issue which making my floor mat wet. Dunno where the source. Still want the number?

If u still wanna go there, i suggest u to stay and watch. Makesure they do it properly. Mine got 2 issue. 1 they didnt plug in the pipe back correctly which i already fix it. That one is easy coz can reach by hand. Another 1 i dunno where the issue come from. Need to dive and check. Here the no 03-8060 0158 moftech sdn bhd

Yeah, mine also follow recommended gearbox oil change, never skip. Mileage wasn't that high, only 57k km. Used 8 years, then kena this issue.

It just leaves me feeling like this is all one big scam by the automobile industry. Sell you a car where after a number of years, you need to replace your gearbox. Bought the car for around RM45k. If replace original gearbox RM10k, that's 20% of your car value right there. Even if overhaul around RM4k, that's still 10%.

My mum's car is Honda City 2018 model. Also CVT. This leaves me wondering now how long before her gearbox also need to go for repair.

No symptoms before it happened. But at the moment it happens, one of the lights (don't remember which one) will appear on the dashboard and will stay there until restart engine.
