I am going to buy one. With this price range, just too irresistible for a good handling car than My.vi !
Thought wanna take 1.3 Standard or 1.3 Executive, but now considering 1.3 Executive or 1.6 Executive.
Upgrade 1 spec, lol.

Since the price has improved so so much. Hopefully the fit and finishing will be improved as well. So no need to go to SC frequently.

Geely really saved Proton.

Which bro within KL area already get their new 2019 FL?
Actually waiting period shud start from the date we booked from SA or date we signed loan agreement ya?
How long did u guys wait to get the car?

Finally collected my new Iriz 1.3 Executive.
Tinting now at Raytech, using voucher given by SA.

Quite confuse about the rear window heater.
The control is confused af, no indication it is turned on or off.
When I asked the SA, he said, when switch to the rear heater icon, then push. It will turned on.
When switch to other air cond mode, then it will turned off automatically. No need push.

Any owner can confirm this?

Another issue, about the smartphone mirror link.
The app is called Easy Connection.
Did everything including USB debugging, it showed a message: -
" The Software has not been authorized legally!
Please contact the dealer! "

Any sifu faced and solved the issue successfully?

See a lot of of reviews in Google Play Store mentioning they failed to connect for different reasons.
I am one of those who failed. haiz ....

May i know what Android version u are using?

Noted in the phone EasyConnec > Connection > Clear Interconnection Matching, there is option to re-match with car display for interconnection. Maybe can try this out?

If no one can resolve this for you here, maybe you can send a message to Proton official FB. Last time I did that on certain inquiry, and they did response positively.

Mine is old phone Android 6.0.1, not sure if it is the problem.
Tried your method, same error message prompt out.
Will try to contact Proton FB ~ for sure will ask them fix it during 1st 1000km maintenance if can't solve it.

Any sifu here can recommend affordable steering or pedal lock that confirmed suit Iriz?
Cuz as I know not every lock suit all cars.
For example, the baseball bat steering lock is a joke for Iriz.
Loose af, not functioning at all.

Think to get one of below, but need Iriz owner to confirm it does fit Iriz.

I installed a fake leather steering cover, it made the steering wheel become thicker.

Got my new 1.3 Executive FL 10 days ago.
As a non-car enthusiast, overall I am satisfied with the car with this price.

Pros
1) I am actually a light footer, so do not have any issue where most car-enthusiast complaining, slow respond for acceleration. Do not feel any slow respond at all.
2) Really good handling, like it very much.
3) Acceptably soft when ada lubang in road.
4) Real smooth to accelerate if u are a light footer like me, can't even feel when I already reach 100km ~ 110km/h. There will be no vroom vroom sound. But still will feel the vroom vroom sound when wanna potong car, means when suddenly heavy foot ~ normal la ~

Cons
1) Don't like the HU will "auto start" every time start the car.
1st time having car with HU btw, may be all others the same?

2) Rain will "go inside" around boot area.
Quite surprise to see there was full of water drops around boot area when I open the boot after rain.
The rubber will block the rain and refraining it to make the boot getting wet though.

But still do not like the point where it will let the rain "go inside" the car.
May be happen to all compact cars? First time having compact car.

3) Seems like the design of the "windows drain" is not good enough. After rain, even the window already dry. When i open the window and close back, there will be water drop on the window.

4) Shud keep the Martini stripe seat design from previous version. Lost the charm after changed the design.

To be further observe
1) Sometimes some rattling sounds will appear within front side of the car.
But tbh, I am not sure it is from the car parts itself or just the things (usb cable, house key, spectacles, steering lock, etc) i put inside the car, because sometimes when I lift up those items and put it in soft place (seat), then the sound is gone.

2) Fuel Consumption. Just 10 days got the car, need more times to observe.

Didn't know got such things ~
But tried one time only on MEX highway, lesser car mah.

Normally just stuck within city roads.
Almost no chance to exceed 90km/h ~

Wanna buy a gear knob cover but really hard to find.

To all sifus who own Iriz 2019, can help me check if the light bulb under the gear knob is white or orange colour?

A few weeks ago it was not working anymore. So I went to fix it @ Proton Service Centre. They changed it. But I feel weird, I thought it is in white colour. But it is now in orange colour. So just wanna confirm.

But really weird when all lights are white, but then suddenly gear knob is yellow.
Call them, they said is because no white light bulb stock at that time.
Already order now. Need to go back and change again.
A few hours in my life was wasted again ....

Yup, dunno why happened.
May be also the technician messed it up with previous Iriz, as I think only Iriz 2019 version is in white, previously in yellow.

I think this happen to all brands and branch la.
Not worth mentioning. Where got Proton SC provide 100% satisfaction one, lol.

So far I satisfied with the branch, and the follow up la.
This is exceptional case so far.
I will still choose this branch over other branch due to several consideration, e.g. distance from home, previous experience, waiting time, etc.

So far the customer service that I always meet is really great.
Seems knowledgeable on the car.
That day may be he took leave, replaced by another person.
That replacement really need to improve a lot tbh.
