Since your problem is intermittent, I also suspect it is more related electrical part than mechanical thing, maybe something wrong with the wire connection, EPS control module or sensor.

I am not sure, but I guess there must be error code or DTC in log that can be retrieved to provide guide for technician to make further troubleshooting. Once you get the error code, maybe you can understand what is wrong with your EPS problem better. Also, with the error code you will know whether the previous technician was doing his job properly or not.

Proton management should takes a look this kind issues seriously and put more efforts to improve their after sales services. Especially on item that is still under warranty, service center shouldn't simply ask the customer leave the car for few days for troubleshooting and end up situation like this. Customer already spend time sending the car to service center and take own transport back to home/office, find own replacement car after leaving the car at service center etc., all these at customer own expenses of their time and money.... sad.gif

The warranty statement in website states the specific steering components that warranty only limit to three years or 250,000 (whichever comes first). My interpretation on this warranty statement is, any other steering system component which is not stated in clause 2.7 shall be automatically covered under basic warranty which is 5 years.

True. Myself as an example, I feel good on my new owned Iriz and in my opinion Iriz is worth buying car. So far I am satisfied and have no complaint about the car build quality. I am more concerned on their after sales services.

If it is their mistake, I think you have a right to ask them to refund. Maybe you should talk to their manager or higher authority person.

That is good, at least they offer you the replacement car. Hope you will get your refund for wheel alignment as well if they have made mistake in the earlier diagnosis.

Mine is town driving, only occasionally city driving. So far have done refuel more than six times, actual fuel consumption based on actual tank refill and distance calculation is between 12.5 ~14.14km/l.

The radiator cap is designed to keep the coolant working under certain pressure, so should be gas tight. Coolant or any gas trap during expansion will flow to the expansion/overflow tank via the spring valve, shouldn't leak through radiator cap. If steam or hot coolant leak from the radiator cap, that can explain why your car is loosing the coolant slowly.

Waiting till the coolant is cold down, suggest you open up the radiator cap, inspect the radiator cap rubber seal and its seat condition, see any damage or not. You also can check the radiator cap spring valve by pressing it, is it still working or not. If the radiator cap is damage or spring valve is seizing, replace it and it would not cost you too much.

I think servicing the air conditioning system is optional. The air conditioning compressor system is working as a closed system, I prefer not to service it unless I really have issue with the air conditioning system.
