It just leaves me feeling like this is all one big scam by the automobile industry. Sell you a car where after a number of years, you need to replace your gearbox. Bought the car for around RM45k. If replace original gearbox RM10k, that's 20% of your car value right there. Even if overhaul around RM4k, that's still 10%.

My mum's car is Honda City 2018 model. Also CVT. This leaves me wondering now how long before her gearbox also need to go for repair.

city hybrid is 7sp dual clutch not cvt. but jaga bateri instead

hybrid pickup by motor assist instead of slipping clutch so its fine

My tyres are relatively new, continental ultracontact 7 with 195/55/15 profile. 215kpa on the front and 190kpa on the rear. So tyre and pressure should be no issue.

Before I changed all my absorbers, one workshop took a good look at my rear absorber and said this is persona vvt absorbers and not iriz. He added that my rear bump stop is wrong. So he proceeded to cut some part of my bump stops and to my surprise, it works. The rear end is finally soft and able to rebounce softly. But it only lasted for days before the bad ride quality comes back.

By right, it should be fixed when I changed all mu absorbers, bump stops and even spring but it doesn’t. It is so terrible that I don’t really enjoy driving it. Any thoughts?

195-55-15 i use maxxis ipro in another vehicle (not proton) must pump 245kpa.

actually ur wheel-fender gap berapa fingers
if rock the car roof from side to side, should feel spring stiffness & know absorber working condition
