Hello sifu's, need to get your opinions before I commit to a recontract.

At the moment I have 2 Hybrid IPTV PVR's at home (with multiroom) on 100MB bundled Broadband using the older AC1200 TP-Link Archer c5v from Astro (with RM 25 x 24 months rebate ending next year) with SuperPackPlus3.

For my next recontract, should I:

1) Migrate both my PVR's to Ultrabox and continue the bundled fiber broadband with Astro

2) De-couple my IPTV to Ultra Satellite mode and separately contract Maxis Fiber (to enjoy the Unlimited Postpaid + Fiber)

Any opinions folks? Do you know which WiFi 6 router will be provided by Astro/Maxis for a new 300MBPS?

Ok I understand better. I feel my old Sony TV KDL-48W600B does not support this HDCP 2.2 so I will not be able to use the Ultra box on it then.

Is this HDCP feature requirement only applicable for UHD content?

Can I ask the Sifu's here --> Does the Astro-attached Disney+Hotstar logins support 4K (or is just HD) on compatible 4K devices/ 4K TV's?

How about the Astro-attached HBO Go (does it have 4K content)?

Also will we get the IMAX Enhanced MCU titles like the OG Disney+?

My old DMT 4 PVR decoder (previously operating in Hybrid mode) was replaced this morning with a DMT 5 PVR decoder.

However the replacement decoder is only operating in Satellite mode despite Hybrid installation type was selected, and no ASTRO service during heavy rain this evening.

What can I do to restore the Hybrid mode?

*The Hybrid enabler status in the replacement decoder = Bit disabled

Same case here and now my rebates are gone and I cannot downgrade without taking the new Ultra Boxes. So I'm thinking to potong once and for all.

Done revised my plan from legacy super pack 3 to sports pack add on chinese favourite with a multi room. Save some bucks since i am not the one who watching astro. Smart TV way better.

Did you manage to change your package without changing the Astro decoder/box? Which decoder/box are you using?

Hi kawan2, I want to check if I subscribe to Netflix via Astro, will my Netflix account be geographically limited (eg my catalogue will be Malaysian regardless of whether I use foreign private/company VPN)?

Yes it seems to stop working last night at midnight or so (I was doing laundry that time). I just pressed the yellow button and continue watching via satellite after that.

However it seems to be working ok now (but I can't tell if it's via IP or via satellite now).
