No. As long the particular Astro service uses satellite (Ku band), then the rain fade issue will always be there, doesn't matter what Astro box you use, like HD box, PVR box, Ultra Box, or in the future whatever Super Duper Ultra Boxes, rain fade issue will still be there.

If you don't want rain fade issue, consider Astro IPTV if your area has either TIME Fibre or Maxis Fibre coverage (not to be confused with Astro Broadband), or just stream your shows on Astro Go.

For those who are complaining, we Sports Pack customers pay a lot for their services.

Yes. Super Pack 3 includes all Chinese channels, from CH 300 until CH398. And yea, Korean and Japanese channels too.

ABO stands for Astro Box Office. It's just a typical movie channel.

CH 115 Tayangan Hebat, mostly are Malay and Asian movies.
CH 241 Thangathirai, Tamil movies.
CH 251 BollyOne HD, Hindi movies.

These channels are also part of the complimentary viewing channels until 12 May. You can watch it now if you want to see how it looks like.

If you just want all Chinese channels, including Astro AOD, Hua Hee Dai, you can just go for Value Pack 3 (Wah Pack) which costs RM84.80/month.
It doesn't include those English channels like in Movies pack, Sports, mini packages and so on, but you can add on separately.

Unless if you watch a lot of English channels, go for Super Pack 3 then.

Price is RM141 excl SST
If include SST, it would be RM149.50/month

Compared to Super Pack 3 of RM154.80/month, hmmm, looks that it's better that you stick to Super Pack 3 instead, since it's just RM5 difference.
Otherwise, you sacrifice off some Mini packages to make it cheaper 

IF I select WAH Pack (RM80) + 3 Mini Packages (RM12x3) + Movies (RM25) is cheaper than Super Pack 3 ...save another RM5.00

If you never tell them you want the 400 hours of cloud recording, call 03-95433838 (9am-6pm) tomorrow and explain your situation and ask them to remove it and waive it.
Maybe because when you downgrade from the old Super Pack 3 (RM163), they didn't remove the 400 cloud rec hours when you downgrade to Wah Pack.

And btw, you add 3 mini packages somemore ah?
News Pack and Learning Pack is still under complimentary viewing until 9th June (Astro might extend it again if CMCO extends).
If you subscribed to News and/or Learning pack, you can consider cancel it off for now, so that no need to pay for it but then you can still watch those channels.
Until the day where the complimentary viewing of News pack and Learning pack is ended, you can go to CH200 to subscribe it again whenever you want.

At least you can save some money for now
