The hdmi is connected directly. I tried all 3 hdmi ports with the ulti box still same. Tested the same hdmi cable with the 3 ports on Nintendo Switch it is working fine.

Yea, it changes from dim yellow to purple colour.
2) Now whenever you press any buttons on the Astro remote (while pointing towards the Ulti Box, of course), does the LED light indicator on the Ulti Box blinks, or doesn't blink at all?
The Ultibox is slowly dim blinking purple. Or rather stagnant purple LED all the time.
3) After a while, if you press power button again, does it change back from purple colour to dim orange?
Once turned on, the LED change to purple. Then ultibox seems not responding to my remote control input.
So is purple LED all the time.
4) Tried connect to other HDMI ports on your TV, and see if issue persists.

It is placed in open TV cabinet.
You do the force software update, or it force software update by itself?
I follow the guidelines in astro website.
Power off adapter, wait for green light to goes off.
Unplug all cables from ulti box. reinsert back.
Boot up, then spam press power button. To go into Update page setting.
Press 1 for software download, Press 1 to download via Satelite.
Wait and hopefully after finished download, can watch astro.
If not working repeat again.
I also found a thread to press 987 to clear NVRAM and then download. (This method have better consistency to resolve but take longer time)
PS. Someone above shared to me to off standby mode. I am still monitoring the issue if this setting was turned off.
If this standby mode is the cause, how can i exit from standby?
My family just called astro again for site visit.
