Why is local tv channels like tv1/2/4 ntv 7 (those FTA channels) looks like crap on Astro, but very good picture quality on DTV?

How much does Astro charge to replace their decoder due to lightning strike?

Both decoder at home can turn on but seems like they cant receive feed from the Astro dish..

Just got both of my decoders replaced and also a small part at the tip of the Astro dish (not sure what its called)

Everytime change decoder its becoming smaller and smaller, this new one is as small as my android tv box lol

The lightning killed my TV's hdmi port as well

Just realized that the latest decoder (non PVR non ultrabox) doesnt have optical out port.. so cant connect to home theater system

Try check at the back of your TV, see whether have digital optical output? If have, try connect digital optical cable from your TV to your home theatre system.
From there, you can enjoy Dolby surround sound on your home theatre system too.

Actually why do we need to "record" shows on ultra box, when if u didnt record also, can actually play back the show we want to watch on the search function or the go app?

Wanna ask, my house currently Astro Multiroom, 2 smart cards. Both also have Movie Pack.. will i be charged rm10 monthly for disney+ instead of rm5 since got 2 movie packs?

So now i have astro full package rm200+ per month and also netflix premium rm55 per month

Can cancel netflix premium and subscribe under astro?

My ultra box lately have been freezing and no response from the remote to turn it on or off, only way to fix it is to power off the main plug and turn it back on. Quite annoying

Just bought a soundbar, hooked astro ultra box and noticed that the sound is lower when the ultra box is set at Auto (dolby digital) , compared to setting it at PCM (stereo)

Is that normal?

For those using Ultra box HDMI to TV and ARC to Soundbar, what audio delay do you set on the ultrabox settings?

Mine seems to have minor lip sync issue but when i set to 0ms (stock is 20ms), doesnt seem to make any difference

All.

I changed setting from my TV from Bitstream to PCM, I loose dolby 5.1 but audio now sounds louder and clearer, and no more lip sync issue.

On bitstream 5.1 the bass can shake my house but the voice/speech can barely be heard.

Malay commentary is on Ch801 regular HD

Bts this is the first time i hear such nice sounding from my soundbar, so this is what true dolby atmos sounds like ya.. even netflix also don't sound like this
