If you're not watching all the channels on normal satellite Astro, Sooka is a decent alternative. It uses the same backend as Astro GO (Amazon AWS) but with better resolution (1080p 50FPS @4Mbps vs 720p 25FPS @1.5Mbps for Astro Go).
I was really tempted to move to Sooka, but they don't have NHK Premium offered

Just sharing information as I'm also using astro fiber, they provide a router as well, but for the fiber optic gateway, they will reuse the Unifi one if it is already available.
Their router can use smart phone app to control, but I basically just use it to restart remotely

No. Just because you subscribed to HBO Max apps addon, that doesn't makes you a Movies Pack customer.

I assume you're still on Premium Pack 2? If yes, then nope, that pack does not includes Movies.
Therefore, Prime Video won't be included in your subscription.

No doubt that the 30 minutes difference is mostly to replace advertisements to Astro in-house ads, and also censorship.

As for my predictions, Astro shall make an new arrangement for those in-house Chinese channels in the future:

* Astro QJ (CH308) will be the ultimate Chinese entertainment with the addition of Astro AOD's content. Astro QJ will offer Cantonese and Mandarin programs from Hong Kong and in-house productions and serve as new home of Astro Originals Chinese drama and 10.30 flagship news, Evening Edition.

* Astro AEC (CH306) will be the go-to destination for top-tier Chinese entertainment with the addition of Astro Hua Hee Dai’s content. Astro AEC has offering high-quality Hokkien entertainment Taiwan, MediaCorp drama, primetime 8.00 PM news and Chinese children content.
