My wife's elderly aunt house was hit by the floods and all her electrical items are damaged including the Astro box.. We are trying to source for her to replace the damaged items. Her TV is also a write off. If anyone can advise me where to buy 2nd hand TV, it will be appreciated as well. Area is Puchong.
unifi fibre users should be able to add-on LG 4K TV from RM69/mth with 24mth contract.
maxis fibre and wireless broadband can choose brand of 4K TV. RM1/mth depends on subscribed rate plan on contract.
subscribers to either unifi and maxis might as well leverage availability of such easy payment scheme to get through their financial crunch.

Guys , I currently have problem with using Netflix on Ultrabox. I used private account that I bought for 1 year but after login it I noticed my next bill suddenly has extra 50+ increase. That's when I found out the current biller has been changed to under Astro. Did anyone experiencing this?

2) You did not switch Astro subscription. You simply used your pre-existing Netflix in the ultrabox, and suddenly Netflix unilaterally switched your billing to Astro. (!? RED FLAG!?) worst, both Netflix directly and Astro indirectly charges you for the same?

Does that mean if you use a separately-paid Netflix account in ultrabox, payment method will automatically be switched to Astro? (despite what we previously understood about using independent netflix subscription in ultrabox?)

Looks like Astro will override the current biller if you use any Netflix account in the Ultrabox. They forced you to pay through them. I started used it on 13th November and on 26th this happened. See? You used your own account and suddenly je memandai2 nak bill through them even though the account is active and already has legit biller.
if one (i) did not change Astro subscription to include Netflix but (ii) get switched to pay Netflix through Astro, is there a contract period imposed then?
(whether intentionally switched or accidentally switched is different discussion. of course the beneficiary Astro would argue in its favour.)
Legacy Astro packs customers must switch to new packs first, then only they can make whatever changes they want on their packs. However, if they really want to maintain existing legacy packs while upgrade to new box (Ulti/Ultra), then they must subscribe to Astro & Broadband together first*

few weeks ago i changed to netflix premium. apparently netflix will auto-revert since โpayment methodโ i.e. โastro billingโ refused. had to get in touch with astro again, and i silently believed the CS somehow re-signed me up for fresh contract period. probably that was the time that i was also opted into all this fuc***** useless obnoxious crap marketing sms since it started sometime after. 10 years of silence and suddenly these.

i don't use whatsapp. i don't use facebook. i hate everything about facebook and related. so i registered whatsapp only on spare number that i don't bother about.
today i realised that the marketing spam that astro has been sms-ing to me is actually directed towards the spare number used for whatsapp, which is never registered in my account with astro. more so convincing after checking as CS confirmed that my "official" number is already excluded, which means i shouldn't be getting sms yesterday and today.
fuming mad. simply harvest number then spam. f* if tomorrow i whatsapp them again out of necessity it's going to be re-enabled, is it?! stupid.
