So normally we start find out what we going to buy at start of few day, then made purchase at final day so at start you choose them because of 75% but in the end it become 66% and if you didn't notice it, you will spend more.

Some people will only buy it when it reach 75%, they will not consider it when it is 66%.

I think xcom2 and civilization 6 is the cheapest so far at there. I don't think these 2 in steam sales can't even reach that price.
