This few days my ASTRO channels suddenly cannot open on few HD channels ...
- HD310, HD332, HD637, AXN HD, DIVA HD and more ... total of 8 channels

when open channels it come out SCNA ......

Called to Astro + Email to Astro .... They said account active ... need send technician BUT will charge RM65!

What to do ? ( beside ask technician come )

before come out this problem , the problem channels will black screen for few second ( always)

I have TV Box - Unblocktech brand with Unifi 10MB ... Astro channels also can view from this ..... but not Full HD quality ...

end up they came and find that some shitty cable out on the roof is exposed.. bla bla bla. HAve to fork out rm69. For now, all the HD channel working.

I called local Astro installer come check ... they go to roof dont know do what ... than come down said ok . charge RM 60 ....

I kena before few years back..D.I.Y replace the SATCR LNB with parts taken from extra dish at satellite dish...problem solved.. the plastic LNB signal deteriorated due to weather wear and tear (a.k.a sun and rain)

ya... strangely. after they fix, can work. Replaced some connector and cable up there. But how come many people complaining same issue at the same time?

Maybe - MAYBE LA - ASTRX want give their sub contractor cari makan ,,, so purposely change some setting , so we will request service with them ..... MAYBE LA

Eh? Speaking of which.......my NJOI also suddenly has signal lose after 5-10 minutes.
Using the remote to power off and on = still same signal loss

Unplug the power source, replug back = can view again, but then signal will be gone after 5-10 minutes.

some of njoi using second hand ( used unit ) decoder and satelite... yours is new set or used set ?

"New" set. Samsung Zapper.

Decoder was made in Dec 2012.

I have it installed in May 2014.

Recently bought a 4k Tv and noticed that Njoi 8tv have choppy video not all but especially during Korean drama.

Did some read up and off all motion function but problem persist.

Tried all the resolution settings also same.

Didn't see this when using Hd ready plasma.

Is there something else we can do or it's a wrong frame rate from the source?

You'll see the frame rate difference because South Korea uses 60Hz system, but Malaysia use 50Hz (we follow British standard).
The source (e.g. Korea drama) is 30/60fps, but Malaysia transmit it as 25/50fps, so some viewers may notice the judder/inconsistent motion due to lesser frame rate from original source.
