Thanos kills him while Thor only helplessly watches. 'Thanos' and 'Thor' apparently will have the longest screentime of any character in 'Infinity War' which is a little bit surprising (especially the latter). if you read the comic, Thor apparently has also more appearance in thanos fight. lol, he plays the key important role for all the stones. and knew more about the power of the stones than any other MCU member.
