Consider Endgame is the timeline

Thanos snapped in infinity (war) it happened & remained, hence its 5years since infinity snap that we are in endgame

Thanos that appeared into endgame timeline from the past, thus create a new timeline from snapping thanos. (Thus mitigating he didn’t visit that wakanda event)

Yeah it get very confusing if one swells on this. BUT whyyy the need to burn braincells on this 😓

To say yup thanos can summon his legion of army into the endgame timeline just like that (they weren’t destroyed before & still exist) - in reply to someone who asked how could Thanos summon his army into earth

the issue is that the antman clearly said that one cylinder is for one person per trip. ironman and cap also had to steal more instead of just sharing what they had

the Thanos of 2014 didn't hold back and 100% bloodlust, after seeing his future self decapitated by Thor. He even said he'll wipe out the entire being when he got the IG...
a stark contrast to the 2018 Thanos who always holding back and rarely serious about killing anyone during the Infinity War

i like to think that all those time travel they did kinda created some flashpoint event...which will lead to the Phase 4 of MCU

during the sequence where Cap and Tony as well as Scott go back to the 2012 NY invasion, when Tony is holding on to the Tesseract briefcase with Thor on his right, how did he know that Pierce was(or rather, WILL BE) the one to go on a manhunt for Fury?

Tony taps Thor and mentions something about Pierce being the one to hunt Fury.

Winter Soldier is when Fury was "killed"/"Hunted" by Pierce, but that event had not happened yet during the time of the Avengers.

But but, if they can do whatever they want with time travel and create a new timeline(s), why don’t they bring everyone alive, especially Tony Stark ( I was Emo/in tears in cinema when Tony Stark died) and why the old Steve Roger suddenly inserting himself in endgame timeline (this one I also Emo )

I guess after watching it there would be a different branch of reality happening in this movie even though most of them were fixed by Captain America returning the said stones and hammer (how awkward is it to return the soul stone )

1) endgame reality- the current timeline, though the ending suggest that cap was always peggy's secret husband (prefer if cap just leave a note/shield and peace out in a new reality instead of muddying the time travel rule they established)

2) loki spinoff reality- since the past cannot be changed a new branch of reality were created when he escaped with the tessaract

3) No gotg reality - since Cap will return the stone to morag, quill will acquire the power stone but yet Thanos and Gamora are missing since they went to the endgame reality which kinda fuck up since it may cause Gotg were never formed

Damn, we need Dr. Strange who witnessed all 14 millions of different outcomes to explain all these time travels stuff to all of us...

When Happy told Tony's daughter he was going to get her all the cheeseburgers she like.. that hit the spot.. also when Captain America whispered hail hydra.. that was really one of the best part of the movie

Lol maybe. But they should've at least hinted at that. Perhaps they did but the didn't make it in the final cut. Thanos is not smart enough to use the time stone to see the future possibilities like Dr Strange though haha

this movie definitely have its ups and downs.

theory and plot point aside, their biggest success would be so call closing out properly almost each and every character narrative arc.
this is especially so for the main original avengers.

hawkeye with his family.
black widow death.
hulk finding peace with co-existence between banner/hulk.
ironman death.
captain america return to the past and lived a happy life.

thor narrative didn't work for me. while he was MVP for IW, thor character sucks big time in endgame. all his action practically makes no sense. i almost wished that he died when thanos slowly pushes the blade against his chest just as thor did to him in IW. that would be a more befitting end to him. die fighting!

my son asked a good question. with the stones intact, wouldn't vision be recreated?

how come spidey missed ironman's funeral with the hot aunt may?

some very good scenes imho:
the ancient one with hulk
lift scene with cap's hail hydra
cap vs cap
nice to see robert redford again for a cameo.

bestest ever scene:
cap's worthy! that's when the cinema cheered the loudest.

stan lee's cameo is almost a blink and you miss it.
the howard stark scene is a bit too much i feel. not much weight to the storyline.

overall this movie is structured towards more closing out than progressing any storyline and in that manner i would say it succeeds just that it's not a conventional big marvel movie where action and humour is almost expected. here there are some lol moments but not much action. afterall, most of them are aged.

still hating captain marvel. though she ain't a good choice for this role. just didn't work for me. feel that she doesn't have chemistry with the rest of the crew.

When Capt time travel back at the end, he should have given his pym particle for black widow to time travel to present era. Poof! She is alive again. Just like what happened to Gamora

During the 5 years later scene when Capt was talking to a group of people in a support group. At first i thought the group of people is the older versions of the original avengers. They look strikingly similar in terms of hairstyle, appearance (Except for black widow - there a lady with yellow hair like black widow except black skin)

and to answer why it has to be Iron Man over Captain America that snapped the infinity & the “we will be alright, now you can rest” Potts qoute
