LOTR series is another kind of epic, but the conclusion is not so
and the filming of the trilogy is basically done back to back based on the same script and same director
basically it's just a 10 hours long movies chopped into 3
if you're talking about the mega battle scene? yes they're among the first

But for this MCU saga, none has done it before, on paper it's an impossible feat to pull off
since 2008 till now, 11 years of 21 related movies, different directors, different script writers
but at the conclusion ALL main characters from each series, show up on the big screen on the final battle scenes
with an epic conclusion to the saga
The saga starts with Ironman, "ends" with Ironman as well...
