Hi good afternoon everyone,

I have a used jazz gd and the shocks / absorbers felt kinda weak already as the car feels floaty and the rear shocks are making the hissing noise.

What I want to know is that are stock absorbers serviceable? I read online and people said that only higher end adjustable shocks can be serviced. However in my previous ride which is the first generation persona, it had soft absorbers too and i sent the car to have the shocks serviced according to the advice of my mechanic.

Surprisingly the car did feel stiffer and don't scrape/ bottom out so easily when going through bumps. Spent rm250 for the service.

So I'm wondering if I should try the same thing with my jazz or just go for a new set of shocks?

Thanks for the replies guys, actually my mechanic just recommended me the shop and I sent my persona there by myself last time.

Glad to know that it is actually fixable.

I checked around and a new set of absorbers (front and back) for jazz is around 700-800 for stock ones. So if it can be set serviced for around 300 then I think it is worth it. Because I don't see any leaking around the absorbers, but they just felt a little weak and not as sensitive through smaller chatters.
