changed the auto gearbox a few months ago ("crunging" sound and end up with cannot engage) .
recent bang by sister

mine up to 170KMH on penang bridge , was "playing" with Volvo S70 at midnight .
maybe he's in a rush or whatever and i just following from back .
that car accerelation

SX8 was floating (suspension fully extend) on an uneven surface at the highway right after the bridge . then i exit the highway (to seberang jaya) and he continue his own journey (north-south highway) .

no updates ?
how are you guys' ride fuel consumptions ?

RM50 for 400KM ++ when fresh service .
currently around 370KM engine oil already dirty and over mileage , need replacement soon .

by the way , 17x,xxx on odometer

my dad go for secondhand 4AT because overhaul takes time
but it won't last forever.. so 5MT manual is the best
parts are share with old Civics

if you feel like don't trust the dealer @unker, better send the car to other service center & get more opinions first


both are SX8 just Type Z is facelift version
D13B for 1.3L, D15B for 1.5L enjin and same honda 4AT gearbox. some come with D15B-VTEC.

sorry don't have accurate calculation (lost track liao) RM 60 run 450KM
fuel tank is 45L about RM80+ per tank, no fuel light
parts are share with old Civics

not sure about part prices, dad always do the service
should be the Civic EF, open the fuel door and saw a "SH4" marking

so far my mom's car 1.3L can go 185KPH /5300RPM on Penang bridge
midnight following lancer GT, then a normal wira just "swooooosh" by & overtake us

mine is MM613, same goes to local civic EJ D-series enjin code that different from D15, D16 code.
