yeah vtec only left , only full tank + tshirt honda + umbrella ( itupon i want to request when get the car ) .

I tried silent mode but the signal light also off one. How can i on the signal light but not the sound?

er.. i wonder, is the 3rd gen city REALLY 3rd gen or 4th gen? I lookup in wiki and it seems like it's marked as 4th gen..

Anyway..

Using the thread specification - i have a 3rd gen city.. and it's driving me mad now..

First i got this gear hickup thing - when driving uphill or trying to overtake someone by flooring - it jerks.. I changed CVTF already and flushed but still the same issue. How much does it cost again to change gearbox? Any alternatives to solve this?

Second, the steering wheel sometimes feel stuck.. no it's real stuck.. It's very irritating especially if you have passangers onboard! ARGH! Imagine when you're cruising at 90 - 110km/h at highways and want to do a tiny-bit small turn just to align the car straight.. slight turn to the left.. sterring wheel doesn't move.. stuck feeling, turn a bit harder then the whole car shake as it unstuck itself! Then people wonder if i can drive properly or not. IT'S THE DAMN CAR!

I don't know what's wrong with it. One of my colleague own the same 2003 model (different color) - and he too face the same issue until he's fed up with it.

Both of us changed tires (i changed twice!), did alignments, balancing, but none of it solved the issue. Freakin @hit... You guys think i can get back to Honda and get them to fix this for free?? I've always dreamt of driving (well owning) a Honda before.. but after owning one, it's a nightmare! A total loss! CRAP don buy 3rd gen Honda City 2nd hand even if they give to you for free!!!

Anyone had faced this issues before and got it resolved? I don't want to pay Honda SC for notrhing if i go there and just pay for them to 'look' at the car wihout solving it.. They did it before, claimed ok but after a day then the issue got back (i think they didn't fix anything.. just that the car mood was good and it all went ok for a moment before it messes up again).

ARGH I'm so frustrated! @#!@$!%!%!!!!!

i got my new city vtec 2005 (2nd) last month).. where can i get seatbelt head..cos the previous owner lost it..

yes..the power of vtec still run good..but i think i dont want too overrun it.. sayang oooo...

Turn your engine ignition in II and press button A until the hazard light on. Some member got signal light still working but in silent mode.

neato4u, the gearbox is RM27k, if u really want to change the gearbox, better use the 27k for new car down payment. unless u manage to find a 2nd hand in chop shop.
regarding the gear jerking issue, me too got this problem recently at 55k km. the SC did some computer calibrating then it's ok for 1 week. perhaps it's time to change my gb oil.. well, u can try bring ur car to another SC.

steering wise, i have no problem. my car is also the 3rd gen and 2nd hand car for me, the steering is too light, until i turn it until it bounced back


the light indicator at the gear knob (P,N,R,D,S) is not ON anymore.
how much to change the light? or is it only some plug went loose?

Should not be a pb.. Tell me ur setup first and budget. Good quality sound should get a component speaker which i recommend u to go for JBL. And if u dun have sub then go for 6x9 JBL decade edision but need to put metal. Dun for get at least 2 channel amp yeah.

Yeah you should change your CVTF every 20,000km to be safe,

Your case should be faulty steering rack, happened to quite a number of members in TeamCity as well.
My wife i-DSI encountered the same problem changed it around 3rd year final month (lucky still under warranty), according to SA should cost around 1-2k.
