Hi guys,
Wondering if there's any software that can detect the data usage and speed that it's downloading or not? Better if can split by software.
For example if I use Chrome to stream Youtube, I wanna know what's the speed coz it's always buffering. I use VPN so I want to figure out which server to connect gives me the best speed. Or example Skype video call lag sometimes, I want to know what speed it's moving at. Something like that. Got such software?
Thanks.

Currently I'm using software called NetWorx trial version https://www.softperfect.com/products/networx/I'm not sure if it have that specific features that you need but it can record how much bandwidth per day/week/month also can see download/upload speed.

I use iStat Menus and Peakhour. iStat Menus monitors the local computer and Peakhour monitors overall traffic on the router. Here I'm streaming from Netflix in Safari. http://www.bjango.com/mac/istatmenushttps://www.peakhourapp.comThis post has been edited by soonwai: Apr 17 2018, 03:07 PM

Safari use how much speed ... and other programs etc .... but it seems like it's only for Mac =.=" Googled for Windows alternatives, can't look for anything similar. Trying Rainlendar now which I thought have many skins but can't find anything like Istats menu also ... now just got the network speed, i guess it works if i only run 1 software =/ Appreciate if anyone knows any other freeware for Windows that's exactly like soonwai's screenshot at the very bottom ... thanks !

Trying to remember some of the software I used back in my PC days. Have you tried ZoneAlarm Pro or DUMeter? I know they can monitor bandwidth but not sure if they can monitor bandwidth for a particular program. How about Task Manager? It can monitor bandwidth right? The Mac's equivalent, Activity Monitor, can, just like iStat but overall and not individual stats. And not so convenient. This post has been edited by soonwai: Apr 18 2018, 04:17 PM

I'll live with this for now ... thanks for your reply ! Cheers
