Yes did tried all three options but still didnt up to par to the OP3. I think the tuning of dolby atmos is special to suits the stereo speaker and AKG earphones, so if whenever want to connect using usual way the sound will be different.

can't blame you for being disappointed, i also felt the same, compared to my previous htc 10. s9 never came close, but i will still gave them credit for improving their sound quality department. 😔

Can someone explain why after i turn off notifications for a certain app, yet it still shows notifications?

And why is samsung notifications so messy? There is no borders btw each notification and its difficult to see and read.

Prefer emui over samsungs os.

Guys, need your opinion.

I usually connect my s9 plus to the headunit in my car using aux cable and plays music using Spotify for my daily drive. Before this, am using OnePlus 3 and the sound is just so perfect. The bitrate, the crisp, the bass; especially when playing lonely together by avicii & rita ora..is perfect for me. biggrin.gif

But switching to current s9 plus, whenever i connect my phone to the headunit using same setup, the sound is just so bland! With or without the dolby atmos option switched on, it doesn't achieve the same level as the previous OP3. In fact, in the previous OP3, no special setting or equalizer when using Spotify.

So, do you guys know how to get back my crisp sound? Did some tweak here and there in the sound setting page but still failed.

For case will depends from person to person so you will need to look around... Good and branded ones like Spigen, Otterbox, UAG while cheaper option like the one i using, Ringke...
For TG there's only 2 at the moment that a lot feedback are great, Whitestone Dome and Hoda. Both uses Loca glue so the TG fit really nicely on screen without touch sensitivity issue...

Different users different types of casings. Some like clear ones at the back and some like me don't.

Using Spigen Hybrid Armor and Zizo Bolt. My tempered glass is from Zizo but normally I don't really use them.

Just share some snaps of the cases I'm using now.

Tempered Glass is Hoda but its more or less the same thing as everything out there.

UAG Plasma - This I think could be the most protective and longest lasting while not feeling any more bulky than a regular case.

Extra protection on all corners. Zero chance of it lifting the tempered glass.

The shiny plastic at the back will scratch over time but I don't think it detracts from the militaristic look
user posted imageUAG-DSCF2167 by vmwt, on Flickr

My favourite part - tall lips for screen protection even with tempered glass

Spigen Rugged Armor Urban - New version of the classic rugged armor with more clearance for tempered glass so its fully compatible with most if not all tempered glass.

user posted imageSRAU-DSCF2169 by vmwt, on Flickr

The textured back improves grip and reduces wear... a bit... but it looks nicer over time then its predecessor tongue.gif The corners also slightly reinforced.

user posted imageSRAU-DSCF2170 by vmwt, on Flickr

Lip (screen clearance) also maybe like 0.5mm taller but I tried dropping different angles on my wooden desk. Didn't hear any glass sound

user posted imageSRAU-DSCF2172 by vmwt, on Flickr

The original Spigen Rugged Armor - Notice how the case is totally flush with the tempered glass. Slightly off installation of the TG or if the corner compressed during a drop or even shoving the phone onto the phone may lift the tempered glass

user posted imageSRA-DSCF2173 by vmwt, on Flickr

I've used it less than 14 days in total and the matte finish back is starting to wear out aesthetically

user posted imageSRA-DSCF2174 by vmwt, on Flickr

Very little lip/clearance over the tempered glass. At certain angle, the glass will touch my desk's flat surface.

I have 8 cases and still can't decide which one is the best doh.gif

However I've determined that two of them are rubbish which I would not use ever again (free case that comes with the phone and X-One Dropguard 2.0).

One is an ok case but mostly likely will not use it again since it's my 2nd best clear case (Ringke Fusion).

Five which I really like and rotate among them regularly (UAG Plasma, Ringke Onyx, Alysvia clear case, Rhinoshield Crashguard, Rhinoshield Solidsuit).

anyone can giv insight about HODA vs tMAX liquid tempered glass?

choosing between this 2 because a forumer does installation for this 2 brands, claimed the same function. but uncertain since i did not want to waste any more $ on screen protectors, currently using spigen neoflex the friction is unbareable.

hoping people who own tmax can giv some comments in terms of oleophobic and clarity thanks

before this i was in shanghai have had the chance to try multiple TG, not all TG are built the same. clarity might be the same, no rainbow , no orange peel, but when exposed to cold air the water condensation will render the touch screen not usable --->glastimate ,benks , nilkins, doesnt happened with spigen.

Well, if it's too technical, Google>forum. I always find my answer with Google. For other stuffs, forum can be helpful.

Well, I think you already know your answer to your own question. Aux is not Bluetooth.

Did you perform any sound calibration/tuning using the Adapt Sound feature before? Maybe you need to turn that back to default as the tuning is performed according to the speaker/headset that you plug in at that time, which is not equivalent to your car sound system... hmm.gif

It's most likely the same thing.

I stopped worrying about oleophobic coating after I got this

https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry88707839

I play pokemon go quite a bit so most oleophobic coatings be it from nekkid glass, tempered glass or whatever last like 1 month tops.

Fusso solves that problem.. just reapply whenever feel friction.
