nowadays Pak Guard and Mak Guard all good person ed.. they are not strict at all or even care wat u do unless u really do a big prob there la.. now canteen/ cafe open til 3am. a lot of ppl Dating n Berdua-duaan either at cafe or in front of the girl's dorm dat is kk3. the guards also dint care so much.. few factors that made guards don really care is got one accident in front ump where a girl die. some ppl might know the story. they also seldom check id card durin at 9 when u come in..

mech seems goin to shift to Pekan soon most prob next sem.. don worry wan2juice, u can have a beautiful LAKE and fishing.. haha.. don forget brin ur ROD along. i found out UMP has RIVER at some seclude place..

erm.. that accident is a bf n gf 2gther ride a motorcycle, b4 reach ump front gate, they stop at the opposite road n the bf ask the gf walk across the road to go in ump loh.. duno for wat reason the car langgar her n she die.. dat y ump now not so strict when u come in during afternoon n at 9.. now seldom check ID card. u dint realise meh?

type wrong, it is mechy n EE students goin.. wake up early to take 1 hour bus to go pekan. haha.. if shift there, go kuantan even far then frm gambang goin kuantan. btw, pekan got river or tasik.. i duno which one. but can pancing fish ma.. more ppl dating during at 9. more gejala social.

shif over pekan la.. PEKAN is a good place for students and has nice scenery. u can PANCING IKAN too..!

ump is a engineering uni but now they start to receive ppl from art too into few courses such as OSH - OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY N HEALTH, PROJECT MANAGEMENT n INDUSTRIAL TECHONOLOGY. i m in project management..
at uni u can see a lot of factories n ppl wearin safety helmet, even they ride motorbike also they use safety helmet. haha.. if u r a kind of ppl that love study, ump is ur 1st choice cos no entertainment.. safe $ n cost. beside that, sometimes our uni will has mist around. cold weather.

our uni has quite a lot of good stuff to share n benefits if u dint really mind or fussy bout it.. our dorm is located inside the uni so it is a walking distance to the class and sports area. the furthest to go class is less than 10minutes by walking.. if u wake up late, u still have time to go class on time. hehe.. sumore there is a pasar malam on every thurs night. n bla bla.. if u interested, y not give it a try? lol..

UMP campus if i m not mistaken, it will still at gambang. cos a lot of new building just only build n the sport centre is new. i don think they goin shift the whole ump to pekan. mayb few faculty at there n few at gambang. correct me if i m wrong.. no matter wat, gambang better than pekan cos nearer n not so troublesome. ^^

yes, i noticed the announcement. harap harap don have to shift la u all. hehe.. if wan shift, try again to object. bring more voices in. more ppl, more stronger the power.

Akhirnya terlerai sudah kekusutan berhubung pemindahan ke Pekan (tapi KEKUSUTAN berulang alik plak mengusutkan minda).

Rasanya ramai yg dh tahu, cuma Awang nak ringkaskan sikit beberapa maklumat penting hasil pertemuan malam Jumaat lepas kat astaka sana.

1. Surat pemindahan dh keluar pada pagi Jumaat, 24/4/09 - yg mana FKM & FKEE akan mula beroperasi pada 1/7/09 (hari pertama semester baru).
2. Polisi UMP, WAJIB tinggal diasrama kecuali ada alasan kukuh (cth Berkahwin).
3. Perancangan awal (maklumat dari wakil JHEPA dan Prof Rosli) - Waktu pagi ada 3 trip bas - Pukul 6, 7 & 8 pagi. Waktu bas balik pula pukul 4, 5 & 6 ptg (tertakluk kpd perubahan). Kelas-2 untuk FKM di Pekan akan bermula paling awal pukul 9 pagi, bukan lagi pukul 8.

4. Dua (2) hari iaitu Isnin dan Jumaat pelajar tak perlu ke Pekan. 2 hari ni khusus untuk BUKAN Subjek Mekanikal spr Matematik, English, Ko-Q, Subjek-2 UH#, Soft Skills dan len2.
5. Hari untuk Subjek Fakulti Mekanikal ialah Selasa, Rabu & Khamis shj. Jadi, 3 hari ni kene la ke Pekan.
6. Utk pelajar-2 PSM & PTA, akan ada bas disediakan pada Hari Isnin dan Jumaat utk korang yg nak ke Pekan. Bil. bas dijangka (tak muktamad lagi) 5 buah khas untuk PTA dan sbhgn. PSM yg melibatkan Makmal dan Lab.

7. Kampus Pekan tak kan dibuka pada waktu malam (awal-2 siap ni korang paham-2 la).
8. 15 org Pengawal Keselamatan akan ditmptkan di sana.
9. Akan ada Library, ICT, Bendahari, Klinik Kesihatan, JHEPA, BPA dan beberapa lagi kat sana tapi bilanagn staf mungkin sedikit sbb masih diperingkat awal.

10. Surau, Cafe, Tempat Rehat dan Internet Wi-Fi pun ada tapi mungkin tak seselesa lagi sbb masih diperingkat awal.
11. Locker utk menyimpan barang pelajar sedang diusahakan.
12. Jadual waktu dalam proses pengubahsuaiaan kali ke 4 utk memastikan perjalanan kelas, waktu rehat, waktu solat dan waktu balik tak terjejas.

13. Tempat-2 untuk menunggu bas pergi dan balik akan dispesifikkan ditempat-2 tertentu (belum diputuskan lagi) supaya memudahkan perjalanan pergi dan balik.
14. Asrama tak sempat siap lagi di Pekan sana sehingga ke semester depan (dijangka selepas bulan 12).
15. Untuk Test kene la bincang dengan pensyarah nak buat camana, tapi final exam konfirm di Pekan.

Rasanya dah cover semua kut apa yg dibincang mlm tu. Ape pun, kita bersedia la dari awal. Last skali, attendance 80%, tapi yg tak hadir 20% mesti ada surat or approval utk tak dtg kelas. Sem depan peraturan kehadiran (dan peraturan-2 lain berkaitan P&P) akan diperketatkan, sbb kita akan melaksanakan ISO. P&P semuanya sem depan akan mengikut sistem ISO).

Tak dtg sekali tanpa sbb akan diberi surat amaran, tak dtg kali ke 2 dpt surat amaran ke 2, then tak dtg kali ke 3 tanpa sbb, terus tak leh amik final exam or mungkin kene repeat terus.

Dari segi Teaching Plan, Pengambilan Attendance, Penukaran dan Pembatalan kelas dan lain-2 lg berkaitan P&P akan mengikut sistem ISO Sem depan.

If u got the offer letter to go into a local uni, why u wan to take form 6 again? if form 6 u cant go into local uni, it will b a waste. now u have a chance, appreciate it. Are u a non muslim?

i m so bored in uni now.. people is having holiday but i m in uni for Masum training. So lonely leh... now i had been in tis uni almost a year, next sem goin b 2nd year. one year so fast pass by. ^.^
so far in tis uni, everything is ok. ntg much 2 complain. now we have our new sport complex that really give benefits to the students.

Added on May 5, 2009, 12:39 amit is not a new uni.. it had been around 7 years this uni in GAMBANG , Pahang. Formerly knows as KUKTEM then now is UMP ( 3 OR 4YEARS OLD).

sure tired la.. 3days a week go to pekan and waste 3hours in bus just to go PEKAN.
btw, when u free, u can go fishing ma.. then bring back for me la. ask the CAFE ppl cook for u. ^^
if no internet, u will b crazy in room cos u cant do anythin but u can go for exercise or sit at CAFE chit chat wit friends loh.

Added on May 5, 2009, 1:59 pmchee, now God has given u a chance to go in local uni, y don use just take it? no body knows whether in future u can go in local uni or not.. now u have the offer, grab it. there is a lot of advatanges in this uni such as dorm is near to class ( u don have 2 take bus and it is walkin distance 5 to 10 minutes oni), now the security is not strict at all (other uni they will saman u if u dint wear matric card), u can see a lot of ppl wearin Safety Helmet when riding motorbike, throught out ur studies in ump u will b provided wit HOSTEL until u grad, big sport complex, peace, and the most interestin part is during at 9, ump is like genting cos it will surround by MIST and it is cold. if u don know how drive, u can follow ur friends go out by Rent Car (famous service in ump). if u have any enquiries, u can ask us anytime. we r willin to help u out.
b4 u come, there will b an orentation on 28 June wit all those degree students and it lasted for a week. in tis week, GOOD LUCK. haha..
when u start come ump , u alwiz wan go town.. after awhile u will bored with the town. i seldom go KUANTAN ed cos really ntg there. but if u like adventure and jungle tracking, there are a lot of places for u to go such as Sg Lembing, Pancing, Teluk Cempedak, Cherating, Kelah and many more. who said u cant adapt to the uni life? haha.. i come from a place full wit entertainment but when i come here at 1st i tak biasa but slowly i can cope wit it. if bored, u can DOTA wit me or even CS. we LAN the whole uni.

talk a bout water, haha.. Our uni alwiz no water. since 1year i come this uni, more than 6 times no water for few days but the last was crazy cos 8days without water. hahahaaha.. but it is fun. i go Petronas station bath wit my friends. ^^ and our uni is full wit all insects that come from the forest .

at 1st i applied kk4 then i found out wireless is not comfirm, it is a dorm where there wont b any room and many more so i faster go change it. i applied kk2 now. how u know u stayin at the back there? i duno which block i staying also. btw, now kk1 is for girls ed. oni c10 and c9 is for guys. cos now girls also increasing and we guys have more places to stay so they shift the guys to kk4. if u stay at kk1, u don have to wash toilets. that wat i like bout kk1. haha.. sumore it is awliz windy so i open my door let the air come in.

i know kk2 at the back, i thought u said u stay at the behind block.
the actual kk4 is still on construction, do u know dat? the shop that become kk4 is just temporary. frm kk4 (that is shop) u can see the under construction kk4 at the back. if u got pass by, u can see it..

ok. hostel question easy to settle. last time i paid around rm450, it wont over than rm500 a sem (5months). Remember tis is for a room without air con and it share wit another 3person. so total is 4 person. 1 person rm 450 x 4 person for a room dat is in kk1. kk2 i m not sure but the amount wont run so much.. around rm 400 plus also. it is a house wit 8person inside. there got 4rooms and a small hall, two toilets.
as i know in kk1, room wit air con is only for international students such as China students and Master students. local students like us, i don think they let us stay even we afford to pay it. Mayb u can check tis out. cos room wit air con is really enjoyable where u can on it 24hours and u have water heater to use. normal students like us, we don have tis kind of benefits cos we pay less, we get less and WE ARE NOT INTERNATIONAL students. btw, tis coming intake u get to study wit China students but girls are limited. 5 china girls oni. haha..
so i highlight again, one room wit 4 person at kk1 and a person have to pay rm 450 for a sem. for me, i feel it is very cheap! and our policy is no students allow to stay at outside UMP unless u married.
I think hostel has any prob, mayb u should ask other question that u really not sure or u feel it is important to u. so far so good..
