sorry to break the news. Sony brand is for people who do not know anything about electronic. If they do, the wont help to pay Sony's advertising budget Sony + Samsung share the same LCD production. LG and Philips do the same via LG-Philips display. Sony got what? Astro Image Booster™

yeah this brand is all about quality and reliability then the price oso very 'quality' lah. Now i refuse to buy any computer drive other than Pioneer after first using their DVD Rom

lol i think i saw one at Denki 50in 1080p plasma MRSP at RM29K but selling at a MUCH cheaper price . but i forgot the price lah. I think it was slightly over RM20K

philips today advertise, 47 incher lcd 1080p, rm 9999 rp somemore

aiyo that is cheap lah but still think plasma is way better for movie. LCD is good as a display

Philips Electronics has a new 47in widescreen LCD Flat TV, the 47PFL7422.

Able to display images at a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080pixels, it allows viewers to take full advantage of high-definition (HD) content from various sources, including Blu-ray and HD DVD players, game consoles and media-centre PCs.

Philips said its proprietary Pixel Plus HD technology increases the number of lines and pixels displayed on the screen for razor sharp pictures. It also enhance the pixels while removing artefacts and digital noise from the pictures.


The new TV also features Philips' Dynamic Contrast Enhancer, which uses video processing and unique dimming backlight technology to deliver rich black levels with increased detail.

You also get two HDMI inputs, which enable viewers to connect multiple HD sources to the TV.

ya la..now pun already below 4k. itu pun sebab toshiba already released 3000 series.but the specs are similar. 3000 series priced for rm3999.bougt it at Taipan

waaa...so evil..talk behind my back.....that price was a steal lah at that time as it was priced at RM16k....in retaill store....on the bright side ..there were people bought 40" at 16k.....

On the other hand...december is where shareholder profit is announced and distributed....if the price is rite..might be getting 1 more lcd tv 1080p larger than 52"....

ai.. il stick to my 29inch crtv lo.. sigh

at least u do have that 29 crt tv for astro and the new lcd monitor 22" for ps3 and HD movie viewing....

aiyo u got one LCD oredi . get a pioneer plasma to compare LCD with Plasma lah 50in enough lor. Hopefully it will drop below RM20K by then so you can feed your 1080p/24 to the plasma - pure black Gen 8 plasma
