dot = DOUBLE OR TROUBLE!

Means, you better put 2 dots or more if not you'll be in trouble.

I believe the next patch is nerfing the warlock's PvP abilities. Dots will now break Fear. However, I could be wrong. Oh god, I hope I'm wrong sad.gif My main's a warlock and my favourite tactic in PvP is Deathcoil + Fear + DoT + DoT +DoT + Fear....rinse and repeat. With the possible changes, I might have to rethink a new strategy ie. hiding in bushes while slapping DoTs on every single thing that runs by.

For levelling purposes, I would recommend going Affliction until you hit level 50 before respeccing to Demonology for the Felguard (its tanking and DPS abilities make me wibble). This is just a personal preference. Maybe other warlocks could share their opinions?

BM hunters pretty much own warlocks, unless that hunter downright sucks.

The only way i can win BM hunters is to curse of weakness his pet, dot him up and drain tank him, and then pray that my 12k hp is enough to last thru that 18 seconds of hell when he's immune to virtually all forms of CC.

Oh and I'm soul linked (27/34/0, changing to 24/37/0 soon), so it helps a little.

EDIT: As for munak, lvl your warlock as affliction. Make sure to get improved corruption, and improved life tap, and spec all the way down to dark pact and Unstable affliction. With imp life tap + dark pact you're a mana battery and your downtime from drinking to replenish mana will be very, very minimal.

The talent build here are mostly posted from a 70's point of view. If that's what your question is asking.

Assuming you took the shortest route to Unstable Affliction (41 talent pts into the affliction tree), you will be level 50. From then on, you can put your points into demonology for additional survivability or destruction if you prefer to nuke your targets.

As for me, I went 42 affliction and the rest into demonology because I like the survivability of the demonology tree and the ability to do effective drain tanking with affliction. With a 42/9/0 build I went from 60-70 in about 1.5 weeks.
