Dear X70 owner,

I have a few questions regarding the ACC. I only have a car with traditional cruise control and 6 speed manual transmission (hope you can imagine the uselessness of cruise control in this category).

1. After stop (e.g. at traffic light), can you press the resume button to make the car moves again?

2. If there is still a car in front of you, does the car remain stationary?

3. If the car in front of you already move, can the X70 match the speed?

If the answer is all YES, it is fine by me (and most probably will book the X70). It doesn't have low speed follow but you can activate it (move again) by a press of a button.

Thanks luvox for your reply. I checked, you are an owner of the X70. So, back to my question I believe:

1. Yes (if there is no car in front of you and its function is just like a traditional cruise control)
2. No (it will hit the car in front of you since below 30 km/h. Need to reset ACC again above 30 km/h)
3. No (same as no. 2 above)

Very sad. The hardware is already there but why Proton does not want to setup like CR-V ah? I don't mind the LKAS like in CR-V. LDW is sufficient for me.

BTW, how do you re-set the ACC? By press of a button on the steering wheel or you have to use the touch screen?

Guys..can u suggest me where is the best place for nano coating nearby puchong/seri kembangan? i found 1 in seri kembangan and according to him the cost for 9H is around RM750.. can i trust their quality?

Hi guys. Wanna ask for advise.

I already booked x70 premium, my bank loan is approved, and the SA said the car can be delivered on the second week of April.

But the SA forces me to pay full downpayment first to get the chassis number etc. I said i will pay all before i take the car, or a day before i take the car. But he keeps insisting me to pay now n sign bank agreement now to secure the chassis number for my car.

Is it really a normal practice like this? Because last time when i bought a car, i paid the d/p on the same day i take the car or at least a day before. Can anyone please advise?

So fuel consumption ok unless you stuck in town.

So normally you getting 600km per tank? Fill up is RM80 to RM90?
I think that is a very good mileage.

Will be moving to Penang soon, was thinking of getting a used 2020  X70 1.8 Premium (face lifted one??), but not too sure....
Would appreciate advice from the forum members here whether to get this car or not.  I have a budget of RM85K.

I would be open to other suggestions as well, even other makes/models, something that my budget allows.
