My dad's Space Grey Premium received on 26/2, booked on launch day.

Drove it over the weekend, was seriously impressed. Completely outclasses the Civic in NVH and refinement. Powertrain is quite powerful and smooth especially for someone used to a N/A car. Fingers crossed it is much more reliable than the car it replaces, a 2012 Proton Preve CFE.

I am owning a Jazz and X70. X70 wins over Jazz on NVH regardless idle or accelerating.

Maybe your dad's Jazz is very well insulated.

I think generally, if resale value and maintenance is your main concern, should stick to Japanese cars.

If nvh is your priorities, a lexus is a good start.
My boss lexus suv recond of 7 y.o is quieter than my full spec accord, especially the wind noise during 150kmh

How come? Low production of premium x?

For CKD version saw gearbox overheat message right after starting the engine in the morning, strongly suspect it is caused by faulty sensor.

Touchwood my car does not show this error. I just sent the car for 1k service and complaint suspension noise when go over bumps. SC investigated and sprayed the silicone lubricant. No more noise.

My review of my CKD Premium:
1. Very good NVH (probably the best in Proton)
2. Engine noise very minimal
3. DCT gearbox is smooth, gear change is not really noticeable. But I do practice put it to Neutral if expecting long wait in traffic. SA told me auto hold will also disengage the clutch automatically but I am not sure how true it is.
4. Mediocre sound quality from the headunit, even with Kenwood speakers and subwoofer.

Unnecessary stress, DONT PUT N during traffic light or jam stop if you dont want premature gearbox failure. Just use the auto hold function

I am new to DCT gear box.
I will stick to letting it in D even in traffic jam.

Because of our tariff, it is ironic that the HRV (a B-segment SUV) is compared to the X70 (a C-Segment SUV). Buyers would of course look at the price as a comparison.
I had driven both, if nimbleness and mostly town driving, the HRV size wins (until the X50 shows up).
X70 is a better all rounder with better safety features and an extremely capable highway cruiser. Equipment wise, X70 is the hands down winner especially the 2020 CKD version!

Folks,
My CKD Premium came with a 2.8Bar tyre pressure on all tyres. When the tyre is hot, the pressure goes unto 2.9 or even 3.0. I am sure this is massively over-pressured for X70 CKD tyres. The driver side door mentions 2.2Bar, while some internet articles recommend 2.3Bar or even 2.4Bar. What would you recommend based on your knowledge and experience?
