Last time I checked with the developer's office, they still have some units left.

Heard from some 3rd party agents that J.Dupion is a slow seller coz they priced it too high. Can't recall how much coz I enquired a long time ago from some agent but one thing for sure, we lost interest after seeing the pricing.

And around that area we have Leisure Mall, Eko Cheras, Sunway Velocity, Aeon Maluri and now this.

Then add on the dead malls 1 Shamelin, Cheras Sentral, Viva Home and Ikon?

When the retails are dying out, why do they keep on thinking mall will attract more interest or make the properties better?

Come to think of it, what else can they build besides the typical mall/office/hotel ..

But 7 towers 1 mall, i didn’t expect that land to be that huge

More landscaping or facilities would be great addition to increase the value of a properties I believe, rather than mall.

Unless it will become a very popular hot mall, they are taking a very big risk if the mall doesn't prosper as planned.

Generate income from office, I still can understand, not necessarily from Mall, if the mall is not well accepted, that will also be the downside and will also affected the sales of the units they sell to public in the long run.

I just don't see retails can survive in the future, more and more retails, even the huge retails are closing down, all have move to online. I just don't see who will dare to invest more in retails in the coming years

Tough to survive... few malls flooded jalan cheras. Concept Neighborhood Mall (60% F&B 30% groceries 10% entertainment) maybe still got chance to survive with surrounding resi support..but make sure target on right income range customer.

Btw, how many units in total for the 7 Towers? So far developer no have any experience in term of mall management right?
