I like conte too. Last season i enjoy watch the game. I do hope conte stay and change few things but seems like it never gonna happen. i would like to thank conte for the PL trophy. If sarri come, i hope he will get manager position instead of head coach. And i hope he get more power in buying players (which i think hardly gonna happen)

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ May 7 2018, 01:35 PM) more or less will hold back for UCL final Actually almost everyone will start holding back for fear of injury making them unavailable for World Cup...except Hazard. Damn that guy just isn't afraid of getting fouled when he gets past players

Wishing Chelsea that they can finish top 4 and kick Liverpool out of top 4. And then losing in the final. And then no CL next season. That would be really funny..

I hope this is true. he dont really rotate teams, and most likely wont use youth, Monaco's Jardim will be more suitable for our case (roman)- coach and use whatever player he can get.

QUOTE(Alexdino @ May 7 2018, 01:50 PM) he dont really rotate teams, and most likely wont use youth, Monaco's Jardim will be more suitable for our case (roman)- coach and use whatever player he can get. in this day and age, i think youth is no more a priority, especially when the whole football world has followed our system of revolving door for manager/first team coach. during SAF and Wenger era, these long term managers can monitor and plan a way from youth to first team and become potential stars. by the time a youth finish his loan somewhere else, the manager might already be on his way out. but that era has officially closed with Wenger leaving Arsenal end of the season. managers job is to come and get the trophies with what they have.

Guess so Conte out, maybe Diego Costa would have secured Top 4 for us already if only he remained.
Jirud scored for us, still think of him as Arsenal man, scored an important goal vs Liverpool. Happy with that but still have hurdles to secure us CL next season (or fall flat and play Europa). Just hope we do get in CL, Conte leaves us with a good start to next era.

I think he's never going to be happy with the way our club is being run,and frequently let his frustration boil over to the journos this season. His relationship with the board has become extremely toxic with not much avenue for recourse and I think he knows this as well. It was lovely to see a change with 2 up top vs burnley that hinted he isn't as stubborn as we think he is,and our current run is pretty decent although it reeks of too little too late.
I don't think there's any way back for him,but u can't take away the title he's won with us. Coupled with a good chance to turn utd over in the fa cup final and an outside chance for a champs league berth,it could still be a very decent season. But whatever happens I just don't see him staying.
