QUOTE(vichio @ May 16 2007, 01:47 AM) i wonder which brand create the best colour/ image quality ? I really love image quality of Nikon but someone say that image quality of Olympus is the best. Anyone can confirm that ? Do you expect to do a lot of photoshopping? Not because your images come out bad, but you just like to add that extra 'oomph' or mood to your photos. If so, then this image quality comparison is not really important anymore.

Then Fuji S3 or S5. Follow that by the Kodak then the Olympus and Canons.

Fuji SuperCCD image sensors have two more unique advantages: good high ISO performance and very good dynamic range. The diagonal stagger of its photosites also negate moire image defect. Fuji DSLRs take Nikon lenses. This post has been edited by cjtune: May 17 2007, 09:02 PM

do you know D40x just won TIPA award for best entry level dSLR?
i am planning to get it instead of 400D or olympus E model.
