I'm also from Penang and yes, the tyres price here is always way more expensive than others.

Bro chrischiang, maybe you can go to mainland like BM or Kulim. The tyres there might be cheaper.

FYI, I was quoted by Akina Tyre for Hankook V12Evo2 at May18, included GST.

195/55/R15 = RM210
215/45/R17 = RM340
225/45/R17 = RM360

PS4 for 205/50/16, <rm400, not bad the price.

BTW, if you replace your tyre there, pls help to check PS4 price for 215/45/R17 and 225/45/R17.
