After so many months, all my 5 SIMs are still active including the one I kept in the drawer. I guess it's really "no expiry".

For the 20GB free data, still have 3 SIMs with varying amounts of data left.

So far only reloaded RM10 into one of the sims.

The one u kept in the drawer was never used? Still has 20GB data, 10 min calls n 10sms and yet not expired?
*
After I activated that SIM, it was used for about a week then removed from phone and left in the drawer. So it was totally unused for at least 5 months. I got my SIMs 26/1.

Just checked, the drawer SIM has 20GB, 0MB 3G data, 0 mins and 7 SMS left. I think I had this in a Samsung S3 during the first week or so. That would explain why the LTE data never got used. No LTE in the S3

I have total 3 lines with unifi mobile. Is it possible to port out 1 line and keep the other 2 lines?
*
Yes, I ported out 2 lines and kept 2. 1 expired when I forgot about it and it still had 20GB. sad.gif

Any notification b4 the line expired?
*
Did not receive any email notification before expiry. Received an email when it expired which was not very helpful. TM may have sent an SMS but I didn't have this SIM in a phone. sad.gif

Just got a new UniFi Mobile SIM yesterday and started using it today. Anyone know how soon I can MNP to another telco? Any restrictions on Unifi's side?

standard 30 days should apply, but you can try chatting with CS for the latest info.
*
Thanks. Will test that soon.

Just did the online port-in to DiGi. Wonder what will happen?

If I buy weekly LTE only RM20, I cannot use the internet when signal changes to 3G? Need clarification
*
That's correct if the RM20 specifically says that it is for LTE only data. Most of them are.

TM may reject your port-out request
*
Yeah, that’s what I expect too. It’s a win-win situation. If they reject, I get to use the free 2GB. If MNP goes then I get a digi number. I may lose RM1 though. Unsure about that.

QUOTE(Ngto @ Dec 12 2018, 02:55 AM)
Warning Unifi mobile users.

After one of the users reported his line got terminated even after he used it to send sms, I was keeping a watch on my own lines , just in case.

Sure enough I got an email few hours ago that one of my lines is in progress of termination. I checked and saw that I sent an SMS from it only 2 months ago, in Oct.

So just now I made a call from the line and checked the status. Still "termination in progress".

So I put the sim in my active 4g phone and did two speed tests, still " termination in progress".

So now I am going to use it as much as possible before they terminate the line permanently.

It looks like Unifi is breaking their promises.Maybe they are going bankrupt and looking for money. So I guess using free sim data, making calls/ sms won't cut it anymore. Could be they intend to force us to topup in order to stay active.
*
Oh yeah, once status is termination in progress, it's gone. Happened to one of my SIMs in the drawer which I had forgotten about.

As for my other 2 SIMs, it alternates, when I remember, into an iPad, therefore no calls nor SMS and only data usage. So far it's OK. Fingers crossed.

Porting a 5-day old Unifi Mobile SIM into Digi. Should be receiving the Digi SIM today. What do you think will happen?

A bit surprised but port-in was successful. It completed today. Nov 13. Bye UniFi. Hello Lazada, 11street & Shopee.

curious, why do that way? unifi better number?
*
Free SIM.
Punish Unifi for not giving me my Turbo.
Lazada & Shopee vouchers.
Punish Unifi for terminating my forgotten 20GB SIM. (ok, not really their fault this one but 9 more SIMs will make up for it.)
See whether it's possible for a 5-day old SIM.

Will update with more reasons.

Could have done the same with Yoodo but Yoodo, 11Street, Boost are nice.

If i register now, is there any cool down period before i can port out to other telco?

And also I will be studying at Australia next feb, can i send sms from my unifi number to other Malaysian number there? To keep my number active
*
I asked the same question here. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=91157575

And answered it myself.

Unifi Mobile SIM acquired Dec 7. Online port-in to Digi on the same day. Digi SIM received Dec 12. The port-out process only starts when I've received the SIM. Port-out completed the next day.
