I rarely top up or do much with my prepaid. Anyway, calls to those countries are of no use to me.

There is no mentioning of this Roam like Home on sms (receive or send), is it assumingly included?
*
Most telcos worldwide do not charge for incoming SMS. Only a small minority of telcos in Europe I heard charge for receiving SMS.

Thanks. But still need to subscribe roaming in order to receive sms right? Pardon my ignorance cos I have never done it.

Yes, you need to be roaming on Digi's partner in order to receive SMS.

So what is the answer?

I won a RM5 voucher for Giant. I still don't what the correct answer is because I tembak so many different numbers.

want to check if Digi Best 2016 passive period 60 days or 75 days?
*
QUOTE(sms2u @ Oct 3 2018, 11:59 AM)
actually, how to check the grace period for digi prepaid plan?
*
All Best should be 75 days grace period. If want to reconfirm, ask in Digi Community forum.

If you're already in grace period, call 016-2211800 and press 1. You will hear your account details including the termination date (end of grace period).

I suppose another way of finding out the termination date is to do a Live Chat and ask...

Checked my Hotlink app and yes, it's there. smile.gif
Just feeling that such an information should be readily available in the app. smile.gif

True... it's annoying, but that's the reality of the situation.

I suspect Digi wants to discourage users from going into inactive mode in the first place. But they fail to see the big picture.

Count by your own faster, 75 days from the credit expired date smile.gif

But many users will not feel secure without an official deadline date.

Of course the worst telco in this respect is Unifi Mobile who straight up won't even tell you the validity end date until it's almost too late.

Tonight Digi 4G in my area is really bad. Can't even load LYN properly. Amazingly, right now TuneTalk is much better than Digi, which is a rare thing. That's why it's always good to have a 2nd line from a different service provider.

Suddenly Digi is giving me 10GB "loyalty" data for my postpaid. Not sure if one-off or monthly from now on.

Your long-term support to Digi should be celebrated! Starting today, do enjoy FREE 10GB Internet/month as long as you stay active on your current Digi plan.

Looks like a customer retention strategy.

Right now Digi in my area is having intermittent problems. Very slow until I go to aeroplane mode and then switch back on.

It looks like one particular Band 7 tower is the problem. Band 3 and Band 8 seems ok.

Technically how do we check which band we are connected to?
*
3rd party apps like LTE Discovery, Network Monitor or Network Cell Info. But your phone firmware must allow for it.

For Digi postpaid 80 with GBoost, the GBoost NOW has changed to 30GB/monthly with 15GB weekday/15GB weekend.
It seems a trap for existing/new customers since Digi do NOT written anywhere on it websites.
Can someone confirm this?

You got this from Digi staff?

DiGi Plan 78

I think your plan is entitled to Roam Like Home if you ask for it. It'll probably come with a discount (not 100%) off the monthly charge of RM35.

I just discovered the alternative to the Digi Customer Service Helpline, instead of
    016-2211800
you can call
    110
when you're on your Digi phone.
