I'm buying RM 4 for 300MB/week for my mum when she goes back to hometown for 3 days which she blasts a lot on YouTube. I just spent RM 8 for her 2x300MB after she exhausted the first 300MB though I have warned her not to watch any video. Wait till she goes back to my sister's house and use UniFi 100Mbps to watch but well she didn't understand me I supposed.

Don't mind using ClarenceT's strategy though I don't know how he can accurately estimate the cost.
Then, recalled my mum's phone is not with me, so I cannot help her to do this trick.

Good deal though.

You will get the first SMS from Digi after you spend >RM0.50 (ie after 7th call* to China)
You will get the second SMS after you spend >RM1 (ie after 13th call*) then *888*1# and redeem 1GB.

There is no way you can spend exactly RM1 on overseas calls (selected countries only), RM1.04 is the lowest I can spend.

* Hang up the calls in less than 30 seconds!

Cant just call 1 time but timed the duration so that > rm1 is charged? Possible but dont know duration?

Selected countries only, rates varies for each countries, 30 sec per charging blocks.
The cheapest but faster way is to make 13 one-second calls!
Other combinations > RM1.04

I'm using XOX currently for data. RM50 can last me more than 1 year. So no point upgrading.

Digi best comes with free 1gb basic. It was supposed so that u can enter mydigi app to buy certain plans ("bestseller and exclusive") not available through *116# ussd

Wait my digi best only come basic Internet 500 mb how come..

Oh ya its 500mb lol.. but got unlimited social

Mind one no unlimited social alot benefits does not have for beat 2017p2p very up sad with digi..

Allowed to hotspot without speed impact
Cheapest among all telco per gb
If u lock band on mobile to 4g can get decent speed

And free social, no?

As what I know don't have free basic social media unless you subscribe it certain social apps they support otherwise they use your data..
