Say.. I'm kinda curious on what the rental is like in Melbourne these days. I used to rent a 2 room unit in South Yarra for just AUD130 a week (yup, dirt cheap!!) but was forced to move out 'cause the building was getting down down.

it varies alot fyire...
currently coz of inflation rates etc etc ...
they want to increase rent....
it is still ard 80, 90, 100 and in city still going up year by year ...
so it depends on a person decision.
college square is pretty good anyway i see from picture.

Arrow Heights?!! Er.... that's like a pigeon hole... Then again, it will be convenient for you, and you're not going there for a holiday! smile.gif

@KVReninem,
I studied in what most would label BORING - Perth! blush.gif But, my sister was from RMIT and she stayed at Arrow Heights hence my comments re pigeon hole! *g*

If I'm gonna remain in RMIT for 3 years, I would probably look at renting a place near to the city and probably won't mind an unfurnished unit but if I'm gonna be there for a shorter period, it would be important for me to choose an accommodation that's furnished - and i do know that there's not too many available hence I suppose Arrow's quite oklah tongue.gif
