get a iRing. it would prevent scratches on the lens while not hiding the fancy color

Doesn't the len's glass covered by Gorilla glass or something?

Personally I never like those iRing. Looks sissy to me but that's just me.

99% of smartphone these day have protruding camera lens, so it will scratch if u handle it not properly, be it iPhone x or p20 pro, gorilla 5 glass only can handle hardness of levels 6 and below, so fine sand will damaged it no matter what gorilla glass tell or make u think.


Personally i dont have such problems, because i always using a case, transparent one for show off the back, while protecting the phone.

not sure whether it's gorilla or not. but it's definitely tougher than those so called lens protector which gets scratched easily....

Those len's side is very slightly raised. So the lens don't really touching the flat surface. This is what I am asking about the P20 Pro.

Use casing.. Casing also slightly raised around lenses..
Or put front screen facing down

If want to act cool no casing then why worry scratch? Show off has a price tag. 😂

How do get great photo with a scratched len? Sort of defeat the purpose of having a great photo taking camera.

I dont have scratched lens. Because i have casing. Why scratch your lens if you know it will be scratched?

p20 pro is a very good all around phone
very good battery life and excellent camera
although last year cpu but kirin 970 is no slouch.

but for me it has 2 major flaws
1) no earphone jack. it is very important for me for a phone to have a 3.5mm jack. using the adaptor is too cumbersome.
2) the depreciation value....i use to think samsung had bad resell value, now huawei even worse.

and so i tried bonaier screen protector.

after applying it, the sides have to apply oil, and it doesn't stay for long as the sides will need to apply oil again.

any other recommendations? can't afford clear coat.
