My friend in Huawei once told me if IMEI number begins with 35, 36 or 39... then in official Malaysia sealed set. If other numbers, then it is other region set.
Not sure true or not... need pros to confirm this info. Other than that, no other ways to confirm it is Malaysia set.
I agree completely. On paper, the P20P is hard to beat as far as specs and value is concerned but EMUI is frustrating and comes with a whole set of different challenges, which is why I’ve avoided Huawei since my last Mate 8
I’m still eyeing to try the P20P for myself though. Waiting for the Twilight color to reach our shores (or if I can get a good deal on the current colors).
YES it is a good phone, already chatched up with other big brand.. but saying it the best phone i think its still exaggerated.. to be the best phone, i cant be justified by specs only, or just bcoz camera is good. To be honest my Note 8 camera is also good la, althought if compare side by side maybe p20p better. But is photo taken by Note 8 bad? No.. it is already good.. the best phone should be accounted based on overall aspects, including the maturity of the OS, softwsre integration etc. Huawei UI is still kinda experimental? Why, bcoz we still can see the concept is changing from model to model.. while samsung's UI is matured, whenever u use it you know it is a samsung UI.. same goes to sony, motorola.. of course also Apple.. software integration and features on Note 8 is miles ahead compared to p20p, but yeah thats a lot related to the note/pen features of note 8 which is targeted to be productivity phone. I would like to hold my conclusion until note 9, bcoz then we can compare 2018 phone to each other.. note 8 is 2017.. will note 9 pawn p20p? Most likely
So fast judge note 9 can beat p20 Pro?? I hate these comments!
certainly, it is not perfect; but in crucial matters like speed, camera, screen and price; huawei smacks down samseng in so many ways.
most huawei features are sensible like 3-cameras that improves photos a lot, compared to the silly dua-aperture. also, no dumb curved screens that distorts photos and videos.
I think twilight maybe not look as advertised but its sure unique and recognisable But i dont get it why ppl have to wait for it, other color are just as pretty as well
Its a pretty unique colour. No other modern phone has this colour yet.
Has anyone tried its audio quality via headphone? Any audiophile among here?
the P20 Pro supports the aptX codec for ‘CD-like’ sound when transmitting music wirelessly, so if your headphones or speakers are compatible you have the potential for a more refined stream.
