Mate 10 @RM2299

RM300 difference.

Any opinion. Is P20 worth the extra RM300?

Actually, 4 sec exposure is not enough to capture all the light when in low light situation. That why the phone use higher ISO which will cause "art painting" effect

mate is kind of difficult to do proper discussion with fanboi, especially their initial is to tarnish not build ....
the best part is those wanna be, i really laugh at some one said he can hold 1/15 second with no single blur ...

Between this 2 I'll go for Mate 10

mine questions is for mate 10 pro, mate 10 is around 1.9k online, and mate 10 is too wide for me

P20 Plus video record have put me on hold to buy it. Mate 20 rumour test result show better than P20 Plus. All test may be fake.

My opinion on P20 Pro.

build quality good but heavy.
the flat screen more practical than samsung edge screen (i own S7 edge after note 7 fiasco)
battery life superb for my daily usage (1 day) ussually i need to charge around 2PM (S7 edge Lg v10)
Easy projection (EMUI desktop) bonus to me. can watch Iflix in big screen
Camera good for me. (i dont know why people arguing about the camera quality been paid etc)

I blame it on marketing hype. It makes people compare it to DSLR quality.
But anyone into photography knows there's no replacement for sensor size.

Many forgot it is just a smartphone

Pixel quality is bad, to be honest, and I am not talking about those moving objects, which is expected because of long shutter speed. It's the painting effect which is bad, once zoomed in.

DxO mobile mark scoring system is not a science. How they convert the image quality to meaningful numbers is doubtful. I think people nowadays are obsessed with numbers.

Actually no. From what I read, you two are the ones acting like fanboys.

We try to be neutral. If the pic is good, we say good. If bad, we say bad. What's wrong with that? It's not like you own some Huawei shares and own part of the company. No need to be religious about it.

To be honest, the P20 night mode illuminate dark scene very well but the pixel quality when one zoomed in, is below par. There's a limitation of what the AIS could do. It's very nice for social media resolution and it's definitely usable.

1/15s without hand shake is very easy nowadays, especially with OIS and stuff. 1/15s without motion blur is very hard, depending on the objects.

If you could wait till october even better, time for Mate 20 Pro with Kirin 980 DynamIQ + Advance 2nd Gen NPU.. Antutu7 980 nail down S9+ SD845 almost 100k point..
