Scroll down to see the notch off. Apple should have done it like this. The new camera looks like big improvement.

Save space. You think about it, the middle of the status bar normally also nothing there. I don't know why apple decided to fill content into the "Ears". Maybe they scared burn in oled. You check the photos with notch turned off, look nice like s8/9.

Huawei even manage to squeeze a front fingerprint sensor in there.

Hahaha the notch not turn off. It came down 1 level and fit the top with black.

From Google it didn't turn off it just move lower and fit the top with black. If turn off on notch the edge is higher.

too bad i though it was buttonless for the bottom side of main screen
