QUOTE(vandetta @ May 21 2007, 07:44 PM) I prefer install Linux rather than Windows. wahlau ..i played Call Of Duty 2 on my mbp ...and looks cool ..with graphic ATI ...I like the lot of things that I can customize in Linux and I like Mac OS because of it's stability and user friendly. But still have to use Windows for games some more not lagging or system crash ...resource still maintain with my 1G memory ..later need to upgrade mem module ...need to run virtualization |

QUOTE(lovehewit @ May 28 2007, 02:54 PM) I am totally very very unfamiliar with Apple. The most I have done with an iMAC (my office) is just some very simple video editing, safari, the words etc, everything that's very surface. My comment is..I think the Mac is very not user friendly. However, due to the slash priced macbook(last batch), I am very tempted to own my first apple. However, I am very concern wheter I can master the apple, and will I be able to pair it with my current laptop and pc in window. I need your advice:- 1) is 2.0 processor speed faster than a normal Sony Vaio 1.77 processor (T5500) 2) is it really difficult to get use with Mac? 3) I do video editing, photoshop, illustrator (design) and play some games like Civilization IV. Do you think that the MB is good enuff for this? I am not a heavy gamer, I like only strategy games. 4) Is it difficult to use Vista in MB? Will it jeopardies the machine? I really a dummy in Apple world, but I like to take my first step to be a apart of it. so guys, please help or gimme any other valuable advice. QUOTE 1) is 2.0 processor speed faster than a normal Sony Vaio 1.77 processor (T5500) all processor are same , try to compare core 2 duo and single core ... core 2 duo = 2 processor QUOTE 2) is it really difficult to get use with Mac? keyword = learning . previously i'm not Mac user , but i learnt something when i'm being a Linux user ...try use mac in all kind of condition .... productivity , gaming , your video project and so forth QUOTE 3) I do video editing, photoshop, illustrator (design) and play some games like Civilization IV. Do you think that the MB is good enuff for this? I am not a heavy gamer, I like only strategy games. i love games and i played Call of Duty 2 on my Macbook Pro . very impressive . no lagging , no resource hunger . sometimes, i using video editing tools like Motion . So far , my laptop never let me down. QUOTE 4) Is it difficult to use Vista in MB? Will it jeopardies the machine? i never use vista , but i used XP in my MBP (seldom , in order to test it run on my machine ) ...but better not use XP , while Mac already spice up your life |
