Im not sure about lumbar support but it can recline. I cant find the exact model i have and i think they dont make it anymore. However, it is very similar to the link below.

With all due respect, I don't think gaming chair are entirely "overhype" and "marketing". They are comfy to me and packed with features. I agree that they look stupid (yes, even to me) At least I'm enjoying my Secretlab Omega. Don't tell me about comparing gaming chair to "real" office chair. Price comparison alone is out of question. I've not tried those "CEO" chairs like Herman Miller as those prices are just not accessible for a normal person.

But price over 1k...if budget less than that, i think office chair will do.

Additionally, if we do not have air conditioner then might sweat a lot.
Those mesh chair type more suitable if no air conidtioner installed

There are so many so called "gaming chair" that only look like gaming chair but neither boost your MMR nor help your body.

A Proper brand like DXracer SecretLab AK etc has huge difference to any of those "gamick chair" that cost below rm900...

AK good ah? So far my impression, doesn't feel it's great.

The good ones to me are like Nobel Chairs, DX Racer (high end model), SecretLabs and ThermalTake (not TT Racing!!! That one cheap stuff!)

Good gaming chair to me is
1. have good foam padding
2. have very solid base (wheel)
3. hydraulic system does not fail
4. sturdy

Once you tasted those RM 1.3k+++ types, you won't touch those below RM 1000 type.

Anda Seat have all the criteria you mention above and sell below RM1K. I am using Dark Wizard which cost me RM949 only with memory foam head rest. Comes with 6 years warranty too for parts except the PVC leather.

If RM300 you can find the cheapo China made gaming chairs. For example, Infiniteracer, or some Huawan (i think thats the name), imo, go check on Lazada liddat for these chairs.

It will come in a box which you can check it in as an oversize baggage on your flight back home. You just gotta self assemble it after reaching home, just like any other IKEA stuff.

My Markus recline mechanism broke and IKEA took it in and refunded me the old price minus around RM4/month of owning the chair. I went and buy another Markus...

You are absolutely right on that, I was at Lowyat just over the weekend testing and sitting at all the available gaming chairs there. Even some of them didn't feel comfortable at all especially if compared to the SecretLab ones. But still can't bring myself to paying >RM1k for the chair, probably get one from Ikea instead LOL

having a comfortable chair is useless if you don't have the correct table height to match, unless you're willing to put a foot stool.

Gaming chairs in my opinion are overrated. Like headphones for gamers

Better invest in good companies that master their arts at making things.

Good chair companies spend millions of dollars on research and development for really good long term ergonomic chairs.

I'm currently looking at Ergohuman or Bristol Soul. Both have adjustable lumbar support (depth and height) which I think is the most important aspect of a chair. Other features are adjustable seat (push forward or backwards), adjustable hand rest and adjustable neck rest.

Was initially keen on the Secret Lab Omega but my friend pointed out that it doesn't have an adjustable lumbar support and an adjustable seat (more forward or backwards). It's also faux leather which will peel off after a while.

Both are below RM2K. Any other suggestions?

Nope, the latch to lock the seat recline. They don't have parts to replace, so have to replace the whole chair.

I am looking at getting a gaming chair for myself. Can't stand the shoulder aches I'm getting from my dinner table chair.

My budget is RM1000 or lower. I have seen and tried a few chairs in the market. Kinda like the Anda Seat Dark Wizard. But I have a few questions to ask before I make my decision.

1) What is the difference of DarK Wizard, Assassin series and the Spirit King series?

2) Any good resellers for Anda Seat here that can give me a fair price?

3) Is the cheap gaming chairs selling in the region of RM280-300 any good?

Titan has larger seat width while omega has smaller width. Also titan has built in lumbar support. I think few days ago I saw them advertising new omega with built in lumbar support.

Yeah if you break yours. You can refund it but they deduct some value based on the age, hence the RM130.

if i not wrong, dark wizad and dark knight is just different with the arm rest, the seat size is the same as well.

Usually all these chair use the same manufacturer then just rebrand it. Best is u find a way to test em (I now dotatech shop got few chair forgot what brand).
