1. Most gaming chairs below RM 1,000 are junk.

2. More often than not, bucket seat designs with wheel and priced high to the gullible. Bucket seats weren't meant for comfort in the first place.

3. MANY people give praise to cheap chairs ......... why? Because most of them are inexperienced, they sit one time they think it feels good and wah RM 1000 price now RM 500 only so nice.

Those experienced can tell you that the really GOOD gaming chairs out there are so different - foam quality, upholstery quality, even the base and wheels.

Unfortunately those that go give praise on some random chair are as what I said, inexperienced. Excited by their 30 seconds of sitting on something familiar.

What do you think?

My take is always if your budget below RM 1,000 - IKEA Markus it is, though there are reasonable gaming chairs at RM 500 - 1000 range but again do you want to spend there?

If anyone wants a gaming chair - allocate RM 1.5k get from brands like Secretlabs, Noblechairs, DXRacer and such .......... that is if you really want to spend and want a bucket seat design chair. If not then RM 500 IKEA Markus it is.

As for myself, I'm using a TT GT Fit - sitting on the chair like almost 8 hours every day for the past 3 - 4 years. No breakdown on mechanism, upholstery still in tact. Only the bottom foam starting to sink but it's still fine.

My other cheap gaming chairs had so many issues, upholstery torn, foam losing form, hydraulics fail and so on so forth.

There you have it.

To me, as long as it doesnt give me cramp. Its fine. I survived 34 years of gaming with what I have. I'm looking for a chair as well.

Naming for "gaming" chairs is silly though.

Do you guys know where I can test TTracing and Andaseat chair?
*
Went to lowyat last weekend, you can test TTracing SWIFT and TTRacing Royale at lowyat ground floor (MSI shop, quite hidden)
For AndaSeat, so far i found at Topmaid Computer Sdn Bhd @ Lowyat Plaza. However, when i went there last weekend, they did not let me go in the shop to test due to MCO. I can only see from outside without touching it

Today I visited Jawecom PC shop at Setia Alam. Managed to test Anda Seat and Todak gaming chairs. Below is my brother in law and mine opinions n rank. Mind that we never own gaming chair before so it just 5 to 10 minutes observation only.

1. AS Kaiser - the best between all. No stock
2. AS Dark Wizard - comfortable. No stock (I bought this chair from another shop. RM1099)
3. AS Spirit - no stock
4. Todak Alpha standard - my opinion better than premium - RM750
5. Todak Alpha Premium - RM1050. I don't like the lumbar and head support of this chair. However, I haven't try without them.
6. AS Jungle - RM649

Which model you bought? Mind telling how shitty it is for ya so I can test them out when mine arrives?

I'm lazy to take pictures for u rn but i'll supplement you with my claims through words.

https://www.dxracer.com/au/en-au/product/1/...h-kf00-nr-zero/
this is mine.

The pvc on the seat, pillow, lumbar support and the backrest cracked.
The foothold on the wheel base came off (all of them).
The armrests became really loose. They shake around when i place my arms on them.
It's really uncomfortable to sit on for a long period of time.

These are the few issues im currently facing rn. Spend your money elsewhere. Anything with the word "gaming" on is overpriced (you can get better bang for your bucks elsewhere).

Owh shucks, that’s bad. Did the leather just crack or it flakes off bits by bits?

apparently someone told me via social media that all leather gaming chair leather will crack and peel off sooner or later over time regardless of the brand, secret lab, dxracer or cheaper types like tomaz.

but the peeling bits can be taken care off by covering gaming chair covers like a spandex.

Is SecretLab good? For that kind of price, seems quite expensive for a chair. Anyone using one?

As owner of Andaseat Dark Wazard, I regret buy it. As long as the seat area/ back is non breathable/mesh materials, it is not worth your money! So 1.5 k like noble chair, etc is out.

For the same 1.5 k, I will get AM office POFIT/Ergohuman for an elevated experience in conjunction with their Merdeka promotion.

At home we usually game without air-con and with short pants (even with boxer type underwear only who care) biggrin.gif Seating on non breathable/mesh materials make us uncomfortable. (even with air-con room, seat long at non mesh chair certainly make us uncomfortable)

just get the softweave instead of PU leather. pretty comfortable, doesn't get hot.

I’m using the Softweave variant - its a very well built chair and the material is excellent for our climate, unlike the PU variant.
