Herman Miller has small size chair. i doubt others have.

Yeah, you're right. I'm using the Secretlab Omega now and it's a bit big for me as well, should have gotten Titan perhaps.

My dream chair is the Herman Miller Embody. But of course I don't have the RM8-10k to spend now on a chair..

I found that the AMOffice BOP-A1 looks really good and I'm curious to find out the price and try it out one day.

Was hoping someone here would have more info on it! biggrin.gif

I just want to help promote this small seller from FB selling gaming chairs. I bought one from them for less than RM400 and it is a great quality chair and customizable to your liking.

I personally visited their factory to order and customize my chair. At the factory u can see they are office chair makers that are branching out into gaming chairs. If u live in Klang Valley, do pay them a visit.

The make and quality can say at least at par if not greater than some of the brands out there. Butt padding alone this is probably one of the thicker ones I've sat on, and back support padding is also very very good.

i realize expensive gaming chair doesnt equal to comfort. it depends on the individual's ergonomic and body structure.

from what i learn from youtube, those who use gaming chair long term will customize their seat with extra cushion/ cloth/ etc for extra comfort.

Generally I still advise you go test the gaming chair yourself.
I will share my opinion on AndaSeat and its difference:

Dark Knight/Kaiser: For height 165cm above
Dark Wizard: For height 160cm below

Unique parts: Huge backrest and unique neckrest (some may find the neckrest not comfortable, advice you try it!)

Cons: The arm rest have limited raise. So if you have custom table, might not suitable for you.

Difference between them:
Kaiser & Dark Knight is same, it jsut Kaiser use a little higher quality leather.

Dark Wizard: Smaller version of Dark Knight with some downgrade. But suitable for smaller person.

All leather chair, without air-conditioner will feel hot if sit for long. SO my advise is, if you have budget, get those fabric one like Secretlab softweave fabric.

This is correct, everyone's body is different.

What suits me may not suit you, and in many different ways.

This I agree. So much nonsense for "gaming" chairs.

Just get a good normal comfy chair and it will get the job done.

How many gaming chair are using genuine leather here. Almost all of them are using PU, normally will start peeling after 1-2years. One of the reasons is due to Malaysia weather is super humid all day long. PU will not last. I seriously don't know how to justify spending 1k++ on a chair that only lasts for 1-2 years.

Even the cheap IKEA Markus is using genuine leather from cattle.
It uses metal base and comes with 10 freaking years of warranty.

1. Most gaming chairs below RM 1,000 are junk.

2. More often than not, bucket seat designs with wheel and priced high to the gullible. Bucket seats weren't meant for comfort in the first place.

3. MANY people give praise to cheap chairs ......... why? Because most of them are inexperienced, they sit one time they think it feels good and wah RM 1000 price now RM 500 only so nice.

Those experienced can tell you that the really GOOD gaming chairs out there are so different - foam quality, upholstery quality, even the base and wheels.

Unfortunately those that go give praise on some random chair are as what I said, inexperienced. Excited by their 30 seconds of sitting on something familiar.

What do you think?

My take is always if your budget below RM 1,000 - IKEA Markus it is, though there are reasonable gaming chairs at RM 500 - 1000 range but again do you want to spend there?

If anyone wants a gaming chair - allocate RM 1.5k get from brands like Secretlabs, Noblechairs, DXRacer and such .......... that is if you really want to spend and want a bucket seat design chair. If not then RM 500 IKEA Markus it is.

As for myself, I'm using a TT GT Fit - sitting on the chair like almost 8 hours every day for the past 3 - 4 years. No breakdown on mechanism, upholstery still in tact. Only the bottom foam starting to sink but it's still fine.

My other cheap gaming chairs had so many issues, upholstery torn, foam losing form, hydraulics fail and so on so forth.

This is correct. That also haven't touch on the quality of their wheel base and their foam padding.

I have been using my warlord chair for past 2 years. I put some cushion for extra comfort. Everything is ok until lately the leather has been peeling off which annoys me as i need to clean those peels.

My question is, does the high end chairs DXracer, secret labs have the same issue too?
