Streamyx vs UniFi totally cannot compare. Moreover it's 2Mbps vs 30Mbps, totally different. Try UniFi and you will never want to return back to Streamyx. What can you do with 2Mbps?

Moreover, why so worried of contract? You foresee you will not use Internet one day? I always upgrade even before my contract ends, only last round I managed to keep until contract ended because TM free upgraded me from 30 to 50Mbps during contract period. Few months after that got offered to top up RM 10 for 100Mbps which I agreed but contract refreshed 24 months again. Not an issue because it's at my sister's place and her house needs a permanent Internet.

Its worth it...good deal. Ur starting price is lower, later on got offer +rm10 for 50mbps or 100mbps..just relax n wait..they will call u to upgrade

For upgrade offered by tm u would not be penalised. Dun worry about the 2yrs contract.
If u downgrade or early termination maybe they penalised u.

If your place only up to 10M, why they called about upgrading to 30M?

Anyway, eventually its up to you to upgrade based on affordability and your usage. Some Streamyx users have said that they have been offered upgrade to 10M while maintaining their existing Streamyx price like RM88 etc. Not sure what is the criteria for the selection. Whether it is out of town areas or in non-fiber area.
