Looks like Jumbo Lite left out... what the
Also... price seems different from last time, seems like TM already included the GST in it ==> RM31.80 (VAR) and RM63.60 (Ultimate). » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(zarchrykl @ Apr 1 2018, 01:08 PM) ask tmlive just. i am on jumbo lite and received sms upgraded to aneka plus and seems not upgrade yet as few channel as fox hd and fx hd not available yet. They said supposedly upgraded already. and checking account upgraded. seems weird. restart my stb still the same. then they said wait for email to choose package to upgrade like aneka ruby and varnam. WTH.. said upgraded but wait to choose. so Email and SMS said upgraded? Yes... I got the same answer - will receive SMS about the upgrade on Jumbo Lite, but did not mention how soon will it be.For my parent, they confirmed receive SMS about upgrade to Ruby Plus (from Ruby). QUOTE(ljf123 @ Apr 2 2018, 12:37 AM) I cant access though, just received the email. Better raise this matter with TM asap, the refund for sure will take longer time for TM to do it.you also kena? this termination before? When I checked back, i just notice that tm secretly add jumbo pack in my December bill. Then tie me in to contract without my concern is it Most importantly have case number, do regularly follow-up with them and should be all good, need to be very patient. QUOTE(JohnLai @ Apr 2 2018, 01:52 AM) Yup, TM added Jumbo Lite into my account without my knowledge resulting in me paying for both Jumbo Lite and Ruby packs. I had the same situation - was charge for Wifi router box for RM400 (Technician said free, no charges needed).I didn't pay for the jumbo lite charged into my account in the beginning as TM support requested me to wait two months, TM ended up suspending my unifi on second month. So I paid lah I was able to request TM for removal of Jumbo Lite and refund of two months after many reports, phone calls and TMPoint visits.....until the next bill cames with "Early Termination Fee" Got that 'early termination fee' charges cancelled as well. Overall, it tooks 4 months to get my bill back to normal..... Complained to TM and wait for three months to get back full refund. QUOTE(Davez89 @ Apr 2 2018, 08:29 AM) Any package I can upgrade for my unifi? Been paying rm159 for 5 mbps(now 10mbps free upgrade 2 years ago?) And my package includes the hypptv which is the most basic I guess? Lately steam movie get buffering here and there so annoying so gotta come here ask about better package lol. RM139 for 30Mbps + HyppTV package, need to top-up extra Rm20 if you want voice package (600 minutes).Goto nearest TMPoint and request to swap to this package. |

QUOTE(ljf123 @ Apr 2 2018, 09:22 AM) Guess it is a long wait Yup... hope for the best and be patient. Just callled them, they will get back to me asap. I also request for modem/phone/router changes, I choose the renew contract option, since I just switched to 30mbps last week. Hopping for the best QUOTE(raemon @ Apr 2 2018, 09:42 AM) I've been getting jerky and not smooth viewing experience this few days. If they use different bandwidth, how much is allocated for IPTV? Unifi TV = Using 8Mbps dedicated bandwidthFor those of you who also use it as a media player - can yours play mkv files? MKV file? If you are refer to the White STB for Unifi TV, I remember it should playable... but need to use 3rd party app. QUOTE(kevyon6 @ Apr 2 2018, 09:55 AM) You'll need to do calculation on this... Assume no change on 30Mbps package... 30Mbps + Unifi TV (Aneka, Ruby, Varnam = worth RM30) ==> RM139 exclude GST. Get Ultimate (known as Jumbo previously), need to add extra RM30 ==> RM169 (exclude GST), plus GST that would be ~ RM179 |

QUOTE(kevyon6 @ Apr 2 2018, 12:49 PM) i just chatted with them on live chat and they told me the Unifi Bonanza Campaign has ended on 31st March. Told them why old Platinum pack users don't get the new fox channels in Jumbo pack and told me to call 100 (4) sales department instead Chat and call normally give different answer, why not drop by to TMPoint and demand for this Unifi Bonanza package (if you insist)?Else, flip the table |

He said he negotiated some free calls or something which I think it's the STD20(actually what is it)? It actually Voice STD20 (600 minutes talk time), most of the time refer as STD20.And he also got one month free premium channels or something. His unifitv pack I think he chose the one with sports channel and I chose ruby pack. Once exceed 600 minutes: - Call to TM fixed line: FREE - Call to Mobile & other fixed line: 10 cents/min Isn't sport package already gone? Unifi TV currently have Ultimate, Ruby plus, Aneka plus and Varnam plus. |

QUOTE(LickGuy @ Apr 4 2018, 12:10 PM) tried live chat few times, tiap2 kali they just pushing me say sales department will contact me cuz only this department are allow to provide promotional information to existing subscriber, but then they never call. Even dial to 100 get the same. Since both TMPoint in Melawati / Titiwangsa not helping... why not try it in TMPoint (Quill City Mall)?Went to tmpoint @ melawati last Sat, then they told me only pandan or titiwangsa branch can do up/downgrade for existing subscriber. Then I went to titiwangsa branch on Monday, they just straight told me 30mbps@RM139 only for new subscriber, existing VIP10 need to pay extra RM10 (final bill RM159) to get 30mbps package. don't even bother to talk to me as if i'm die-die have to accept their offer. I guess no choice but have to terminate and re-apply, the agent out there still offering 30mbps@RM139 (w/ rebate?) right? And what's the best for bang package right now ah I successfully changed to this new package (was RM179 for 30Mbps) for my parent over there after 2nd visit (need to fill-up surat aduan - let their manager review it and few days later changed successful). For my own account (was RM159), I went to TM Point Cyberjaya - just mention this package and they update in their system immediately, that's even faster! The TM staff told me it was only for new subscriber previously, but due to too many complaint received (especially from MCMC), they receive instruction to open this package to new/existing subscriber, no question ask. |

QUOTE(kevyon6 @ Apr 4 2018, 02:36 PM) old subscribers , they removed alot channels like Syfy HD and others but don't even compensate on giving back some of their new channels but still paying full price For old subscribers, some lucky to get good offer, those did not get have to BEG / complaint or involved MCMC to look in to it, then can get it. QUOTE(LickGuy @ Apr 4 2018, 02:41 PM) thanks for your info, maybe I should drop by quill city mall .. since cyber is too far. TMPoint in Quill City Mall is open daily including public holiday from 10:00am to 9:30pm .btw, did u get replacement of your hardware? mine modem punya power adapter kong, then dir615 (yeah...) kong, and the cordless phone also half-kong. don't mind 24m contract if they replace/give new hardware. so far, right now the best bang for buck is 30mbps@RM139, then 50mbps@RM189? thankiu Hardware replacement? No extended warranty and I insist to have the equipment change, I can choose: take 2 years contract or paid for the device price (RM4xx), plus RM53 for technician visit to install device. Currently best deal is 30Mbps (RM139) and 50Mbps (RM189). QUOTE(Haruji Sora @ Apr 4 2018, 06:18 PM) Just received a call from Unifi today asking if I want to "upgrade" Are you able to cancel the Voice STD20 that currently have (become RM179), then add RM20 for 100Mbps plus free voice call? I believe the offer is RM219 for 100mbps, free 600 minute call bundling, and something about 40 channel Unifi TV (might heard wrong, didnt ask much cause I no use UnifTV since using Netflix), No Contract. Will bundle a new Router (But I already got Archer C7 LOL) Currently I'm on RM179 (50mbps) + STD 20 = RM199 So kinda need to top up roughly RM20. Not sure want to take offer or not LOL. Ask yourself do you really need 100Mbps or can stick with 50Mbps, then make your own decision. |

QUOTE(Rudd @ Apr 4 2018, 10:45 PM) I have a really newbie question; It depends on your usage on internet, do you need to turn on 24/7 even nobody at home?Is it recommended to leave unifi appliances powered on 24/7 ? Or is there a downside, if I constantly plugged off all the unifi appliances everytime I goes to work? If nobody use it... just turn off + unplug to save energy, that's simple. Unless any of your family member or yourself require to have internet access (or Unifi TV), just leave it on and unplug when not needed. My practice: only turn off when at home, else turn off and unplug it. |

QUOTE(hafiez @ Apr 13 2018, 09:13 AM) thinking to downgrade to 30mbps from 50mbps. need to reduce monthly expenses. Assume your contract already ended and want to get 30Mbps for RM139, walk in to any TM Point and demand for it.is it possible? do they need to come to our house and take back all equipment and re-install a new one? I'm happy with current hardware. You can keep these devices... only speed goes down, possible may be in new contract? Better check with them. |

Same as above, walk in to any TMPoint and get RM139 (30Mbps + Unifi TV), please note Voice STD 600 minutes (RM20) is not included. Any other better packages to recommend? This is the better deal when compare to your current 10Mbps. |

QUOTE(jian5481 @ Apr 26 2018, 08:32 PM) Yeah, unfortunately, my contract only ended early this year. So now only can reapply if cannot get discount from TM Point. I work at Mid Valley, so I can go to the TM Point there everyday until the supervisor gets bored of my face. If the first TMPoint does not entertain you, move on and try another one. Or give it a try and go to TMPoint Quill City Mall (open daily from 10:00am to 9:30pm) and talk nicely with them about this RM139 package. They may ask you to fill-up the "borang aduan" for this matter, remember ask for case number if they said NO, then can bring this to MCMC and let them deal with TM. |

QUOTE(balsa12 @ May 4 2018, 12:45 PM) i received a RM10 speed upgrade via email. Nice deal... current package , RM139 for 30Mbps+Aneka plus before gst so i went to tm point cyberjaya this morning and did the upgrade, now, RM149 for 50Mbps+Aneka plus+ Voice STD20 before gst try to get Ultimate pack included but the cs said no, she just throw in STD20 instead. not bad i think. Anyway, have you ask them to give you 100Mbps with extra RM20 per-month (instead of 50Mbps with RM10 extra per-month), that even better. |
