hi guys
recently received a call for a 100mbps promo from 50mbps
I accept it.
I wonder what router will they provide to me for this package?
the representative said the personnel will come to change my modem.
may I know what modem/router they will provide?
few days ago I went to my friend's house. he is using black tp-link with TM logo on it. I forgot to look closer for the model number.

QUOTE(soonwai @ Mar 27 2018, 12:50 PM) About equal but C1200 has problems with stability. It keeps rebooting by itself but I’m sure that’ll be fixed in due time. DIR-850L is the more stable one for now. Wifi for both are quite weak (low TX power.) QUOTE(neooren @ Mar 27 2018, 12:54 PM) rebooting by itself probably fixed with new firmware 15/02/2018... just updated mine last week and my IP maintain the same until now thanks

thinking to downgrade to 30mbps from 50mbps. need to reduce monthly expenses.
is it possible? do they need to come to our house and take back all equipment and re-install a new one?
I'm happy with current hardware.

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Jul 9 2018, 03:10 PM) Seem like you are not the type who use a lot of connections with your unifi....... It is on the paper which given to you by TM contractor. The 13 random alphanumerical is the password. Do know your login and password before you attempt firmware upgrade. Sometime the installer forgot to give Need to contact back the installer They do keep the records. In my case, i call the technician personally and they gave it to me. If u call TM, they will issue u new password.

QUOTE(Bombgen @ Jul 11 2018, 02:24 PM) Guys my set-top-box kaput already, called TM, they give me two option (no more warranty): 1) RM300 +RM50 installation fee for new STB 2) Free + 1 Year contract extension Today technician came already and replace the new STB, i take option 1 which is RM350 which will be included in the bill for next month. The technician take the old STB. My question, is it normal for that technician take the old STB? Since i paid for the new STB. Each STB specifically installed to each customer ka? Cannot take other people punya ka?

QUOTE(pokchik @ Aug 13 2018, 09:39 AM) I agree with you, it's just that not everyone can fork out RM200-300/mth for such speeds. (not the RM169-189/mth 100Mbps ones la) Furthermore, not everyone requires to dload large datafiles everyday though. yea Need based

if unifi don't have that hypptv, I would stay with them.
but I move to other camp because im the person don't like to pay something that I didn't use.
I don't believe the hypptv is "free" at all.
when it come to the 10x speed upgrade, I have to say I abit regret, BUT I just close one eye because the internet im having right now is sufficient already. unless they lower down the price, then I should do something lah..
