I have a really newbie question;

Is it recommended to leave unifi appliances powered on 24/7 ?

Or is there a downside, if I constantly plugged off all the unifi appliances everytime I goes to work?

Or simply switch off wall power supply?

It depends on your usage on internet, do you need to turn on 24/7 even nobody at home?
If nobody use it... just turn off + unplug to save energy, that's simple.  laugh.gif

Unless any of your family member or yourself require to have internet access (or Unifi TV), just leave it on and unplug when not needed.
My practice: only turn off when at home, else turn off and unplug it.  cool2.gif

Exactly my current practice smile.gif

Am asking bcos I'm wondering if it would have negative impact to the devices/quality.

How does unifi billing works?

Is it only 1st & middle of the month.

For example, i subscribe on 3rd, then my bill for this month will be more because i need to pay for;

3/4 - 15/4
15/4 - 15/5

So, after 2 weeks using unifi.
The router ac1200 decided not to detect internet connection & cannot use wifi. Wifi led turn red/orange.

The unifitv still works, meaning modem & lan is working ok.

Check tplink webpage, my ip address went missing.
After 3rd reboot attempted, the ip return & now wifi works.

Any faced this before?

Then rm189 for 30mbps is super expensive.

Although its rm139 for now until next 2 years.

So after 2y, need to cancel again.

Currently using 139@30mbps.

I wish TM would offer existing users either to:
a. Stay @30mbps, pay rm100
b. Double speed, same price

I would choose A.
