Anyone experiencing unifi outage? I'm at Cheras, Damai Perdana area. Internet down since yesterday morning. The internet light on the D-Link DIR-850L router is off and the LAN1 indicator light on the UniFi INNATECH Router is also off. VoIP is working though.

If VOIP is working means that the fibre is ok. LAN1 off means no connection from the BTU to the DLink. Is the DLink powered? Check your power and cable from BTU to router.

Yes, the Dlink is powered. The power indicator is green. I can also connect to wifi via phone, just cannot get online. I have tested 2 different LAN cables from BTU to Dlink, non worked. cry.gif

I spose you already tried  turning everything off and on already. If still no LAN1 light then could be a problem with LAN1 port on the BTU or the WAN port on the DLink. Simple plug into other ports and see if any lights come up. It won't work but just to see the lights.
*
On/off many times, I did try LAN4 but no light on either. I'll go back and try LAN2 & 3. Do you suppose I have a busted BTU? I made a report yesterday but no technician contacted me yet. My mom is getting depressed without her YouTube. LOL!!

Sounds like it. If all the LAN lights don't come on, probably a damaged switch chip. Good news is that TM will replace the BTU at no cost. Bad news is have to wait for them to come.

One more thing you can try is a different power supply for the BTU. Just make sure it's 12V DC. And 1A or more. The last time my BTU stopped working, it was the PSU.
*
Tried the other LAN ports, all lights don't come on. I don't have extra power supply to test with sad.gif But if BTU is powered on, could it still be problem with power supply? confused.gif

Already ask for tm,they just told me reset port and no more action...
They want to open a report, but i told them this issue only happend in night,if they assign technician team to my home check also no use, they come afternoon, speed is normal just happend in 9-12am only...
*
Maybe because it's school holidays. My speed always slows down tremendously at night during school holidays, usually can't get smooth streaming even with 50Mbps. Try and see if it gets better next week when school starts. smile.gif

I have a DIR-850L wifi router and Nokia G-240G modem. Is it compatible with the 500Mbps upgrade? Currently using 50Mbps.

Thanks.

Yes, but you need to be on 5GHz AC.
I can't get 5GHz in my room. The router is downstairs. bangwall.gif Is there any Wifi extenders you can recommend? biggrin.gif

Change to a better router that have higher 5GHz coverage. But, maybe that won't work too, as 5GHz doesn't really have a wide range.

I would recommend powerline rather than extender. Your house could be three-phase wiring though, so if you don't want to take that risk, I would suggest this extender as a last resort: https://shopee.com.my/TP-LINK-AC1750-Wi-Fi-...80984.203887342

My house is indeed three-phase wiring sweat.gif Can this extender extend the 5GHz coverage too? But only up to 300Mpbs right? Sorry not very tech savvy. biggrin.gif

Yes, it can, see here: https://www.tp-link.com/my/products/details...t-10_RE450.html

Product description states that: Expanded 450Mbps on 2.4GHz + 1300Mbps on 5GHz totals 1750Mbps Wi-Fi speeds.

But, your device’s antennas also needs to be able to support the turbo speed.

Hmm... the first time I clicked on the shopee link it took me to "Tenda 300mbps A9 Universal Wireless WiFi Range Extender Repeater Booster". Now I checked again it took me to "TP-LINK AC1750 Wi-Fi Range Extender Wireless Repeater/Booster RE450". Strange... *kicks PC*
